| Personal History | David A Hurd was born September 17th, 2360 on Earth to Mitchell and Breanna Hurd. David grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio,on Earth. He had no other siblings and very few other family he grew up with. His father was a Chief Engineering Officer aboard the U.S.S. Threasher and his mother was the Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Valor. David had a fulfilling life aboard the Valor with his mother. He rarely got to see his father due to the fact he was posted on a different ship. When he grew older he made the decision he wanted to join Starfleet Marine Corps, his mother supported his decision but his father disapproved of his decision. In 2376 when David turned 18 he left his mother’s ship and travelled back to Earth to enroll in Starfleet Command. David was accepted and David worked hard during his years at the Academy. Graduating with Top honors in Feild Combat, Hand to Hand Combat, and awards for leadership, he is currently awaiting his next posting. David fought during many of the fiercest battles of the Dominion War, including Operation Return, The Battle of AR-558, The Battle of Cardassia Prime, and many others. Due to this, he carries both physiological and psychological scars, and well as physical scars, which he manages to keep hidden and repressed most of the time. |
