Rank Lieutenant JG
Character Information
Gender | Female | |
Species | Human (modified)
Age | 21 |
Physical Appearance
Height | 5'5" | |
Weight | 110 lbs | |
Hair Color | Red | |

Physical Description | Alia is fair-skinned and slightly shorter than average for the Federation (partially due to her history and partially due to the genetic modifications she's had). While lean and athletic (she has won several academy track awards), she's not particularly strong or unusually dexterous. She keeps her red hair its natural color regardless of trends because it's an identifier that differentiates her from her clone sisters. |
Family
Spouse | N/A | |
Children | N/A | |
Father | N/A | |
Mother | Dr. Eileen Fitzgerald (deceased)
Brother(s) | N/A | |
Sister(s) | Eleanor (deceased), Patty, Reena, Zenna
Other Family | Shannon Jacobs (grand-aunt), Dominic Jacobs (uncle), Eileen Jacobs (cousin) These relationship names are more based on age than on genetic lines. Technically, Alia is genetic sister of Shannon Jacobs as she is the clone of Shannon's sister. |
Personality & Traits
General Overview | Alia grew up with only the company of her clone sisters. Due to this, she is almost entire unaware that she is attractive since EVERYONE looked just like her where she grew up. This gives her an air of innocence and also a fragility as she's still unused to throngs of people unrelated to her being too close. She is consciously working to overcome this weakness and is quite social with those she considers her friends.
Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Genetic modification to resist ionizing radiation and, in fact, any factors that could modify her RNA or DNA (see report by Dr. Katriedes). It's very likely this means she will have an extended lifespan but no one on Felicity-5 ever died of 'natural causes' so there is no data. Weaknesses: mild agoraphobia, aversion to crowds |
|
Ambitions | Wants to jump from science officer to medical officer eventually. Would love to have a family reunion of all her sisters and new relatives. Wants to advance transporter-based chemotherapy.
Hobbies & Interests | Running. Singing. Electric vulcan lyre. Guitar. |
Personal History | Alia was one four descendants of a science expedition that had crashed due to an unstable supernova remnant. She and four sisters are clones of one of the original researchers. They had been making new clones for decades all while trying to cope with the hellishly radioactive environment of Felicity-5. In the end, they managed to send a subspace distress call when the eldest sister sacrificed herself. Her three surviving sisters went off and Alia joined Starfleet. Her genetic relatives have treated the four with varying degrees of warmth, ranging from faux politeness to delighted acceptance. (See short stories for details.)
Service Record | * Entered Starfleet as an early admission based on her extensive knowledge of infectious organisms, radiation, and genetic modeling. (Recommended by Dr. Eric Katriedes of the U.S.S. Excursion) * Commendation for analysis of the Kotobi Plague (along with two of her classmates) * Two gold and one silver medal for Starfleet Academy track events * Recognition for research project into ancient Vulcan music * Commendation for handling a sensitive situation on DS9 during cadet cruise (The Amandora position is immediately after her graduation so she doesn't have a 'record' except as a cadet.) |
