Lieutenant Zolon sat at her desk looking over the Data she had collected both from the Base and the Ohio not getting too far with any kind of results; she needed something more sophisticated than her brain.
Tapping her Comm " Ensign Levoe this is Lieutenant Zolon, I'm in need of your Holographic Simulation Table some time today. I have some data I need to look at through the eyes of the Computer."
"No problem Lieutenant, you can come down now if you wish and the Simulator is yours for the day" Gin replied.
"Excellent, I'm on my way "Cass responded then grabbed her PADD and was off for however long it would take to get some sort of answers.

Zolon walked into the Lab and was greeted by Ensign Levoe "Nice to see you again Lieutenant. Please help yourself to our Tech and Oscar will here to assist you as well."
Cass looked at Gin with a puzzled look "Oscar?"
Gin grinned "Yes Oscar is the name we gave the Computer long before you arrived aboard. I felt the Computer needed somewhat of a personality" he explained "Oscar say hello to Lieutenant Zolon."
"Greetings Lieutenant Zolon, I'm here to assist you should you need me to do so" Oscar stated in his Computer voice.
Cass had to give a slight chuckle "Very well Oscar, I'll let you know when I need your help."
"I'll let you get to it then" Gin commented then turned and went back to what he was previously doing.
Cassandra uploaded the Data to Oscar and began to try and work some sort of magic to get some answers.
After the upload was complete Cass looked the Data over and still couldn't figure anything out "Oscar extrapolate the Data into an image from the Base and the Ohio Ship" she asked.
"Extrapolating now, this will take several minutes to complete" Oscar replied.
When completed Cass looked over the images "Am I seeing this correctly.....there seems to be multiple beam out residuals....I thought it was just one massive one."
"The different residuals are almost identical right down to the sixth decimal point....that is where it changes. To the human eye the difference can not be detected" he explained in his usual Computer voice.
Cassandra smiled "Well at least I don't feel so bad not realizing the difference" she stated with a grin "Now I have some more insight to what really happened. Now the question is who is responsible."
"That I can not help you with, without more data" Oscar commented.
"No I suppose not" Cass replied with a slight chuckle as she gathered up the information "Thank you for your help Oscar; it's much appreciated" she commented.
"I am not familiar with that concept of appreciation" Oscar stated.
"Let me see....it means a job well done Oscar" she answered.
"Now I understand the concept....but that is how I have been programmed" Oscar answered.
"Good, I have to be going and file some reports on our discovery. I'll see you again Oscar" she said with a grin finding Oscar's explanation rather amusing.
"Yes I will see you again Lieutenant Cassandra Zolon" he replied.
Zolon smiled as she headed back to her Office to file the reports.
