Mission: Planet Savai
Location: Savai Triome
Timeline: Concurrent to 38 and 40

Nightfall and stars was the first thing Will Raymond saw following the unconscious state he found himself in. No light, phaser gone Will was now a sitting duck to the nocturnal life forms that were out there.

Out there the Triome sort of glistened as a moon glow overcast the crystal fragments on the surface. In the distance small creatures scampered as they ate the insects also in search of their dinner.

Wills choices were few as night was cold and day was grueling on the surface. Either he remain at the base of the cavern or wait til day break and venture out to find his team.

A storm in the distance filled the horizon as purple lightning arched through the clouds. Heading directly for the above land mass.

In the distance a crying voice akin to a coyote called out at the moon. With no weapon Will hoped his choice to stay at the caves base was a good one.

It wasn't long until Will saw his first dangerous situation as two of the male felines climbed out of the same hole. Will ducked behind rocks to try and avoid them being less that received earlier. With only his comm badge at least functioning Will heard them speak bits and pieces of Federation english.

" She is gone...look for her." they yelled as the ran out.

* The Doctor must have escaped.* Will thought to himself.

The felines were gone a few minutes but then returned as they realized the storm was nearing. This time they sensed Will and posed for battle.

" Alien... let's kill it and eat it." one yelled.

" Wait I am friends with the Healer who looks like me. I need to find my friend." Will declared.

" She is gone. We can't find her. Let's leave him to the floods."

" Yes...so long you dirty humanoid," the other yowled.

Scampering back to safety the felines left Will at the top just as the winds began.
