Mission: Mission Guardian Shield
Location: UFP Embassy
Timeline: current

ON:

To be a nationally recognized engineer takes a special kind of individual. To be effective on the battlefield as a soldier requires even more extraordinary qualities.

Lieutenant Commander Rogue Green is one of those rare individuals who has carved a niche in Starfleet history by being both.

It takes a special kind of courage to be alone: to be alone with your thoughts; to be alone with your fears; to be alone with your doubts. This courage is not the superficial brand stimulated by the flow of adrenalin. Neither is it the courage that comes from the fear that others may think one a coward.

It is the courage born of honor.

Honor on the battlefield is an infiltrator's ethic. She shows it by the standards of discipline with which she lives life in combat. By the decency she shows her comrades. And by the rules she adheres to when meeting the enemy.

The infiltrator does not hate the enemy; she respects him or her as a quarry. Psychologically, the only motives that will sustain the infiltrator is the knowledge that she is doing a necessary job and the confidence the she is the best person to do it. On the battlefield hate will destroy any being--and an infiltrator quicker than most.

The infiltrator is the big game hunter of the battlefield, and she needs all the skills of the woodsman, marksman, hunter, and poacher. She must possess the field craft to be able to position herself for intel gathering, scouting and, if need be, assassination.

Lieutenant Commander Rogue Green was all of these things with a full measure of the silent courage and quiet optimism of a true infiltrator.

She was on loan from Starfleet, had been for the past six months. Working with Federation Intelligence Rogue Green had gone deep undercover, looking to infiltrate deep enough into the wealthy political elite to get an understanding as to whether or not the Romulans were trying anything nefarious. Rogue couldn't blame them. Romulans were Romulans, and it was the way that most of them were raised. Suspicion, police state, and very little freedoms. The only way to advance quickly was to show your worth to the Romulan people.

Arriving at the entrance to the Federation embassy, dressed classy but casual, Rogue Green gave her ID over for scan, and once cleared, entered the building.
