Timeline: Concurrent

Nix was sitting quietly in her cell meditating and thinking how to get out of this dreadful place when she sensed Dunjen "Are you ok, you've been pretty quiet these past couple of hours."

"Yes old friend, I'm fine. Just trying to figure out our next move...that's all" she replied knowing exactly what she needed to do to survive this place.

Nix let put a long sigh then looked around to make sure she wasn't being watched and dropped her pants "What the hell are you doing" Dunjen asked totally surprised by her actions. "I'm grabbing my weapon" she replied as she untaped a two foot weapon from the inside of her leg which was placed between her knee and ankle.

"Ok....so now what are you going to do" he wondered. "I'm getting us out of here then we can hide outside until the Amandora sends help" Nix explained.

After a few moments of silence "You mean...if....they send help" he stated not wanting to discourage Nix but to cover all the bases.

"Well we'll cross that bridge if or when that occurs.....but right now I want out.....we stand a much better chance of surviving outside than here" she stated. "I trust your judgement Nix...so what do you want from me" Dunjen asked.

"Just keep a sharp eye out until I get us out of here" she replied as she opened her top and grabbed her Tech from in between her breasts then closed her top back up again as Dunjen commented jokingly "Well at least those are good for something besides pleasure." "Hey you just never mind about the girls" she replied with a grin. Tossing the sphere in the air she was able to access the screen and disrupt the power from the bars then popped the lock on the cell. Once out she closed the door and called the sphere back to her which she stuck in her pocket.

"Smooth" Dunjen said "Now what." "Now we get the hell out of this place and go find somewhere safe to hide then wait for help" she explained not really believing her Ship would just leave and forget about her.

Nix held the weapon in the middle around a leather wrap firmly which had a button in the center, when pressed it would immediately sense her hand print and expand to a four foot weapon which was pointed on both ends.

Now she would stick to the shadows as before and hopefully make her way out of this 'hell hole'. Part way to the door she heard something and stopped. After a few minutes three guards walked by her talking totally unaware of her presence. After they had passed she waited a few moments before proceeding.

When the coast was clear Nix headed straight for the door; she now knew how the two women must have felt after their rescue. Nix was just about to grab the door handle when it suddenly opened...Nix jumped back into the shadowed alcove when she sensed Dunjen "Open your weapon....now."

A single Guard walked through the door and looked right at Nix then he started to raise his weapon.....Nix lunged forward and stuck the pointed end of the weapon through his throat...he dropped his weapon as he grabbed his throat knowing he would 'bleed out' in a few moments as he hit the floor unconscious.....the time of sparing lives was over.

Nix ran out the door and headed straight for the tree line then ducked behind cover....her heart was racing. "You ok Nix" Dunjen asked sensing her elevated heart rate. Breathing heavily "Ya fine...just need to slow my heart rate down" as she closed her eyes and concentrated on slowing her heart. After a few moments she was fine as she started looking around.

Only a few meters from where the Shuttle had landed was a small cave with the entrance covered by over grown vegetation. They walked over and Nix carefully walked into the cave being careful not to disturb the vegetation....now she felt safe knowing that she wouldn't be discovered any time soon.

Suddenly Nix heard sirens go off and about a dozen Guards came running out of the Prison as the Head Guard ordered "Comb every inch of this place....I want that bitch found....whoever finds her gets a weeks paid time off."

The guards spread out looking for Nix as she kept perfectly still and just watched as she sensed Dunjen " I'll let you know if anyone of those asshats gets too close." Nix just grinned and she sat back with her back against the wall of the small cave. Now she would wait for help to arrive.
