After the Commodore left his Office Jamie grabbed a cold water then sat at his desk to send Trace an update on the Shuttle Teams as follows:

CC: Commodore Cyndi Song

Subject: Shuttle Security

Priority: High

Trace,

After a meeting with the Commodore there has been a change in the gear that the Shuttle Security Teams will be carrying with them.

Minimal Security/Marine gear and no rifles for the first encounter with the Outpost. Also please have your Marines conceal their phasers as well.

Any further trips to the Outpost, the gear will be considered visit by visit or until a credible threat can prove to exist.
