Ltjg Kordell had been aboard the new ship from day one. The moment a security detail was ordered Kordell had applied to run the security detail. Being Klingon his honor often hurt his diplomacy.

" Mr Kordell the new Captain has been assigned. When she arrives she will assume command from you," Saturn fleet yard commander Thitch declared.

" I see. Sir I have applied for the chief of security position. Will that be my next role?" Kobalt asked.

" Undeterminate, the new Captain likes to make her own decisions."

Kordell scowled.

" Very well. The ship will be ready Commandant, Amandora out."

Kordell then turned to his staff to make directives of his own.

" You heard the Commandant. Assume your duties and make me proud."

Security nodded and proceeded to their posts. As the ship was still moored no-one manned the helm but ops and communications were staffed and Kordell occupied the center seat.
