Nix and Heather were getting towards the end of their shifts when Heather asked "Do you have any plans after your shift is over? Jamie's been tied up doing reports from being the CO on the Akira Ship and I thought maybe you'd like to check out the Promenade Deck on the Base with me."

Nix thought for a moment "I'd like that and it would get me off the Ship for awhile" she replied with a grin.

"Good, you could bring your friend too if you'd like, more the merrier" Heather stated with a smile.

"If your referring to Kira we haven't seen much of each other recently....It seems she has found a new interest....a young male Ensign from Engineering" Nix replied not too concerned about it.

"Sorry to hear that" then Heather paused "We could ask the new CSO if she'd like to join us. We've met and she seems very nice."

"Sure, like you said more the merrier" came the reply.

Heather tapped her Comm "Lieutenant Zolon this is Devroe, I was wondering if you'd like to join a friend and I after our shifts to check out the Promenade Deck on the Base. Casual attire."

Cass heard the call "Sure I'd love to if you wouldn't mind swinging by my residence on Deck 5 and pick me up" she replied looking forward to getting off the Ship while she still had the chance.

"Ya no problem....we'll be by about seventeen hundred" Heather commented "Devroe out."

{Deck 5 - Cass Quarters}

Cassandra decided it was time for people to see who she really was so she grabbed her native clothes to wear for the occasion.

Cass wore a black dress which came just above the knee in the front and a couple of inches above the ankle in the back trimmed in a cream ruffle with burgundy ties on each arm. The neck had a buttoned collar across her throat with her chest area left open to show her ample cleavage camouflaged with a medallion of Sedar on a ribbon to match the ones on her arms hung around her neck. She also wore black lacy stockings under her calf high boots laced up.

After Cass was dressed she heard the door chime go off and went to open it seeing Heather and a friend "Ladies please come in" she said with a smile as the two walked in.

"Cassandra I would like you meet Lieutenant Nix Dunjen, she's my partner in crime, sort to speak" Heather said with a smile while noticing her attire..."Nix this is Lieutenant Cassandra Zolon our new CSO."

"Nix, if i may call you that, it's very nice to meet you" Cass stated with a smile.

"Before Nix could answer she sensed Dunjen "Hot damn, what a fox" as Nix grinned and tried to keep him quiet "I mean she's hot...Hot...HOT!!" as Nix asked him to be quiet again as she simply said "Cassandra it's very nice to meet you too and yes Nix would be fine" she stated with a smile.

"Please call me Cass" she replied "And I see your a joined Trill too."

Nix was surprised to hear Cass say that "So you know I'm joined" she commented.

"Yes since your Trill and have two names I can only assume that Dunjen is your Symbiont" Cass explained.

"I'm impressed most people don't know that" Nix replied "And Dunjen thinks your very attractive."

Cass looked at Nix "Tell Dunjen thank you" she replied.

Nix could sense Dunjen say "Attractive is an under statement" as Nix continued to grin. She had never heard Dunjen carry on so about a women before.

Heather spoke up "That's an interesting outfit you have on Cass" she stated not wanting to hurt Cass's feelings.

"This is what I wear when on my home world. Do you think it's too much" she queried being a little concerned.

"Well you look quite beautiful in that and if it's good enough for your home world then it's good enough for us" Heather said with a chuckle "Should we go?"

With a nod from both ladies the trio left for the Base. As they were walking to the exit point on the Ship Cass couldn't help but notice the female Crew would stop and whisper to each other while the male Crew just stopped and stared as they all walked by as Cass thought "Eat your heart out boys" which made her feel good about herself.

{Base Promenade Deck}

Once the ladies arrived they started walking around looking at the different Eateries when Heather noticed this quaint little Pub "Lets say we try this place, it's looks quite interesting" so with the nods from the other two the trio walked in being greeted by a Waiter "Good evening ladies, I have a nice table for three if you'll come right this way" as the Waiter led the way.

After they sat the Waiter handed them their menus. Looking at the menus the ladies talked over what they might like. Shortly the Waiter returned "So what would you like" he asked Cass. "I'm going to have the dinner salad with house dressing and a roll along with a water" she replied. Heather went next "I'll have the Chicken Parm with a glass of red wine." Nix looked at her "That sounds good I'll have the same."

Shortly the food arrived as the ladies started to eat as they were chatting. Heather looked at Cass "Where did you get such a beautiful bookcase in your quarters; it doesn't look Fleet issued" she asked being very interested.

Cass smiled "Well since I think we're going to be good friends I should explain a few things to the both of you" she stated then began going into detail who and what she was.

When Cass was finished she said "Please keep what I've told you to yourselves for now; the other Crew members will find out as time goes on" she asked "But Heather feel free to tell the Commander since he is Second Officer.

After the explanation there was a few minutes of awkward silence as neither Nix or Heather didn't know quite how to respond when Nix finally spoke up "Please excuse my silence but that was the last thing I expected to hear. I mean you look like this beautiful dainty girl who needs someone to look after her. But obviously not from what you've shared with us" Nix commented with a grin.

Cass grinned back "I can assure you both that I'm quite capable of taking care of myself in any given situation" she replied then went on "This was the way we were trained to come across being helpless and demure; it was a way of protecting who we really were."

Heather smiled "Well you certainly had me fooled, I thought the same as Nix did. I feel better knowing your not this helpless girl."

"Thanks....I think" Cass replied with a chuckle "I guess it's true what they say....looks can be deceiving" thinking Nix found her beautiful which made her smile.

The trio sat for the next few hours chatting, while sipping their drinks, and laughing having a grand old time.

"Well ladies I should probably be going, I have another day of meeting my Staff and looking over any reports" Cass stated not really wanting to leave her new friends.

"Yes I should be going too, Jamie should be getting home soon and I'm sure he'll be hungry" Heather replied. Nix nodded in agreement as the three left the Pub and went back Cass's quarters.

{Deck 5 - Quarters}

The trio arrived at Cass's as she mentioned "That was fun, thank you so much for inviting me....we should do a 'girl's night out' once in awhile."

Nix was the first to speak up "Yes I'd like that too....I did have a great time as well."

Heather smiled as she could tell there was something going on between Nix and Cass "Count me in too" she stated with a grin.

Soon everyone went their own way, each having had a great time at the Pub.
