{Security Office}

Commander O'Connell sat at his desk with an afternoon coffee writing up in detail everything that transpired on the Akira Ship right down the the smallest detail.

Jamie wrote carefully so as not to miss anything and when he was finished he read it, reread it, then read it one last time making any corrections that he felt necessary. When finished Jamie sent off copies to Commodore Song, Commander Green even though she was currently on leave, and Lieutenant Tara Herculoid being that she is the Chief Diplomatic Officer.

O'Connell's Comm went off "O'Connell here go ahead".

"Commander I was told to inform you that the Commodore will be off the Ship for a few days with her Husband" came the reply.

"Very well....she deserves a few days away considering....thanks O'Connell out." He sat for a moment thinking "This CO thing is getting habit forming" he thought then grinned "Cyndi really deserves the break."

When he was finally finished, it was the end of his shift, he secured his Office and headed for home.

{Deck 2 - Quarters}

Jamie walked into their quarters seeing Heather sitting on the couch with a glass of wine "Hi sweetheart, so what have you been up to this afternoon" he asked with a smile then bent down and gave her a kiss.

Heather looked at Jamie smiling like 'the cat that swallowed the canary' "Oh have I got some news for you" she stated with a grin.

"Hold that thought and let me go change then you can tell me all about it" he replied then started for the bedroom.

When he returned he grabbed a whiskey and sat down beside of Heather "So what's this news your busting to tell me" he said with a grin seeing that she was about to explode with the news.

"After our shift was over Nix, Cass, and I went to the Promenade Deck and had dinner" she explained then went into great detail about what Cass had shared with herself and Nix.

Jamie just looked at Heather "Now that is some news....I never pegged her for anything other than just another pretty Officer" he replied "Although that would explain how she was able to get into Star Fleet in the first place. I'm sure she's already informed the Commodore."

"I would imagine the Commodore knows all about her already; Cyndi strikes me as someone knows just about everything when it comes to her Crew" she replied.

"So how did Cass and Nix hit it off" Jamie queried as he took another sip of his drink.

Then Heather really grinned 'I think those two hit it off just fine. By the end of dinner they were exchanging knowing glances and Nix was the first to speak up when Cass mentioned we should have a girl's night every so often" she explained then went on "And it appears that Kira has found a new interest....a young Ensign in Engineering."

Jamie just chucked "You have to watch out for those guys in Engineering" he replied looking straight at Heather.

Heather laughed "Don't I know it" as she leaned in and gave Jamie a kiss then whispered "And they do make great lovers" she replied with a grin.

Jamie returned the kiss then whispered back "And the Science ladies aren't too bad either."

"Are you hungry sweetheart; I can make you something to eat if you'd like" Heather stated with a smile.

Jamie grinned "Yes but I can eat later" as he stood and took Heather by the hand.

She smiled "Commander I like the way you think" as they walked towards the bedroom.
