Well, our meet and greet was a train wreck. The Romulan, in typical Romulan narcissistic style focused all the attention on herself. I will never trust a Romulan or a Vulcan for that matter. Gotta keep my eye on that one.

The Marine Captain seems more than capable. I just wonder how much of that Romulan's bullshit he bought. I need to make a point of talking off the record with him.

The XO is another matter. He seems over eager and that worries me. I see a conflict with captain brewing. She's laid back and he's vibrating like a Rumba. We will see.

My job comes down to networking both on and off the ship. If we are going to have problems with the Romulans, which I think we will, I need to put that Romulan in her place.
