It has been a short while that I have been transferred to the Assistant Chief Engineering Position on the USS Amandora.

There is no Chief. I guess that makes me the Chief, without the title. That doesn't bother me, it is just a title. I will show Captain Song, and Lt. Commander Raymond that my work is my pride.

Starfleet Engineering Corps has agreed to a peer review. I've completed 5 separate trials on 'interlocking phasic neutron calipers in emergency regress environment'. This study is being completed with Scientists from the Daystrom Institute computers.

Seems since I boarded the Amandora I haven't had any time to sit down to rest. Not that I'm complaining. I'd rather be on the Amandora than some outpost like Randal was sent too in the Orion Nebula.

I need a pet to come home too. I want a dog. I miss having one back on Earth. Computer, make a note. Contact Mom and Dad, wishing them Happy Anniversary. It's their 41st Anniversary, Damien, remember.
