Cyndi stepped onto the bridge carrying a thermo mug of coffee, Ro’s boyfriend had been listed as a civilian member of the crew, to say she was happy for the love her first officer had found was an understatement. Ro deserved happiness, everyone did and the news about the XO’s pregnancy had been a welcomed surprise. It had been a long time since the ship had had a baby or in this case babies on it.

Cyndi hoped that Dwight and Paul come become friends as Paul had mentioned how bored he was. “Helm take us out of orbit, we currently have no orders so let’s just resume our normal patrol sector, you may indulge yourself on a heading. Ahead warp four,”

Cyndi walked over and took her seat, normally once underway the XO would be called to the bridge but considering that Ro was getting Dwight settled and used to the ship. Picking up several PADD’s that needed her attention, Cyndi placed her coffee mug in the arm rest and settled back to read reports.
