Commander O'Connell had taken command of the Ship a few days ago and wasn't any further in solving this mystery than he was from the start.

After contacting Communications on the Amandora he learned that they were unable to translate what the Ant being was trying to communicate, which was not what Jamie wanted to hear but he was professional and gracious to thank them for their efforts.

O'Connell went back to his usual task of reading more Ship's logs and reports; after awhile he sat back in the Big Chair and let out a long sigh "If I have to read one more bloody log or report I think I'll loose my mind" he thought to himself as he closed his eyes to rest them for a bit.

Jamie was really starting to miss his beautiful wife Heather; they usually weren't apart this long at a time. What he really missed was sleeping next to that warm gorgeous body while cuddling up next to her. When he returned to the Amandora he certainly had some loss time to catch up on.

While thinking about Heather Jamie was brought back to reality when Communications sounded. Rising from his seat Jamie walked over to read the incoming message from Rear Admiral Sanderson. After reading over the message carefully, so as not to miss anything, a smile came across Jamie's face. Lieutenant Herculoid had somehow managed to establish communications with one of the Ant beings; so maybe now the Crew could finally solve this cryptic puzzle and get all the the folks back on the Base as well as the three ships.

After reading some good news, for a change, Jamie returned to his seat and grabbed is coffee reading over the last Ship's Log that he could find. Maybe...just maybe his life could get back to normal soon.
