Cyndi had received word that the seven children found hiding on the star base had been beamed aboard and were now in VIP quarters where they were safe as Cyndi kept the shields up and had the ship at yellow alert. Jensen the oldest of the children who had made himself their protector so to speak and at first had insisted on being with them. Cyndi had met with Jensen and assured him the rest of the children were safe and would be okay. He’d finally relented and had taken the VIP quarters next to the rest of the children.

The disappearance of Ro’s boyfriend weighed heavily on her mind and she knew that bothered Ro as well. Dwight was not aboard the ship, no shuttles or escape pods were missing.

Commander O’Connell had sent over a report from the Ohio about a six foot tall Ant being had been on the ship and had tried to communicate only the universal translator was not able to help and the being left. Cyndi drummed her fingers on her desk while she read the report from Paul he had some good news. Communication with one of the Ant beings had been established. After reading his report Cyndi opened a channel to the three ships and forwarded the report from Paul and included the seven children that were now safely aboard the Amandora and were in VIP quarters. Herculoid had managed to find a way to communicate with the being who said his name was Antis. Once that report had been sent Cyndi leaned back in her seat and then tapped her com-badge “Commander Green please report to my ready room, I need to know what you have uncovered about Dwight’s disappearance. I also have a report from Paul as to what has been found out on the star base. There’s also been a report from the new tactical officer regarding odd readings near a planet in the solar system.”

Once the report as to what had been found on the base and the message to Ro asking for information about Dwight Cyndi got to her feet and looked out into space at the star base, the three docked ships and the solar system that lay beyond. Now it was a waiting game and Cyndi was not one to be patient she was more hands on.
