Post Number 57 Alesha's Fighter Is Adrift

After finally being able to communicate with the and being who called himself Antis, Tara had gone to the lounge to work on her report even though there was access to the guest quarters on the base as well as VIP quarters. Tara had checked into one of the guest quarters but for now and not knowing what was going to happen next wanted to be active.

Once her report was done Tara hit send to both the commodore, Commander’s Green and O’Connell and then to the admiral since he was currently in charge. Once the report was sent Tara closed her lap top and in lieu of a science officer headed for the bridge. Once there Tara walked over to the science station and entered her codes and brought the systems and scanners online.

Paul had seen Tara come onto the bridge, walked over to where she stood “Anything going on out there?”

“Nothing admiral,” Tara said as she ran several scans, her hand stopping as she magnified the sector she’d been scanning and double checked the readings and ran the scans again before turning to face Paul “Sir our fighters went into the solar system.”

Paul nodded “I know lieutenant, Captain Rivers said something about it didn’t feel right and was going to scout it and report back.”

“Sir, Alesha, I mean Captain Rivers fighter is adrift,” Tara said

“Is your sensors working properly?” Paul asked looking at the readings

Tara nodded as she rescanned the area and Alesha’s fighter “Yes sir it is and her fighter is adrift. It appears sir she’s not on it.”

“Where the hell is she?”Paul wanted to know

“I don’t know, all I know is she’s not in her fighter,” Tara said “It appears to be fully operational but I won’t know anything more until I can see it and access her onboard computer and systems.”

Paul looked out at the solar system and rubbed his chin a few minutes before turning to communications “Hail Warrant Money,”

“You’re on sir,” came the reply

“Warrant Money this is Admiral Sanderson, Lieutenant Herculoid reports that Captain Rivers fighter is adrift and she’s not aboard it. Tractor it back to the base where she can get a look at it.”
