Lieutenant Cassandra Zolon headed back to the Bridge after the meeting was concluded and went straight to Science Station One. She began to scan for the Nebula Class ship. Once located Cass added the parameters for Amazon life signs and rescanned the vessel.

Cassandra realized the scans weren't penetrating the Ship....must be some sort of shielding in place. After several attempts of changing the frequency of the scans the Lieutenant finally found what she had been looking for....one Amazon life sign. Cass rechecked her work to make sure she was correct.

Seeing her C.O. return to the Bridge, and taking her seat in the Center Chair, Cass turned and brought her up to speed "Commodore I have located one Amazon life sign on the Nebula Class vessel......hopefully it's Captain Rivers."

Cyndi turned to face Cass, "That's the second confirmed reading of an Amazon life sign. It has to be Captain Rivers, we're missing an Amazon officer and that Nebula Class happens to register one. Good work lieutenant. Have you picked up a second ship out there? We know where the Nebula Class is but Herculoid suspects a second ship."

"No I haven't detected another Ship....but let me continue with my scans and see what shows up" Cassandra replied as she went back to work.

After spending the next thirty minutes or so, doing a thorough search, Cass found the second Ship some distance away thinking to herself "Herculoid was right....there is a second Ship after all."

"Commodore I have located a another Ship" then Cass paused for a moment "According to the Federation Data Base.....it is an Orion Ship; it seems to be holding the current position.....like it is waiting for something" she explained while thinking "Hopefully not for Rivers."

"Herculoid suspected a second ship, where is it?" Cyndi asked "Have they detected us? My guess is yes and if my hunch is right that Nebula Class is working with the Orion ship."

Rechecking her Screen "The Orion Ship is about one thousand kilometers off Nebula's starboard side" Cassandra replied then went on "I would say we have been detected, but they're holding station.....it's like their ignoring us."

"That or they're waiting to see what we're going to do. We can't take both of them on. I'd launch the fighters, Herculoid is qualified as we know to pilot one but she lacks the combat experience needed. She can hold her own, but do I risk launching them without Rivers?" Cyndi commented

Cass just grinned "And that's why you're the Commodore" she commented "Do what you think is needed."

"Agreed, scan the Orion ship, I need to know what the have for weapons, launch a probe to the planet where the three ships personal are believed to be held," Cyndi said.

Commander O'Connell had just finished going over reports, since Commander Green was otherwise occupied, and walked onto the Bridge. Sitting in his chair he turned to Cyndi "So what have I missed?"

"Lieutenant Herculoid suspected a second ship and it's been confirmed there is one, it's an Orion ship. There is an older Nebula Class hiding in an asteroid field and scans confirm one Amazon life sign on it. It has to be Captain Rivers, we need to rescue her."

Lieutenant Zolon keyed in the coordinates that Intel had supplied her with "Launching probe now Commodore" she stated while watching it's trajectory.

Lieutenant JG SanChez heard the Commodore and started to scan the Orion Ship for weapons. Minutes later "Commodore their weapons are a little inferior to our own....we do outgun them should the need arise" she replied.

"If we have to engage I want engines targeted only. Scan the Nebula Class and give me a reading on the weapons," Cyndi said

"Aye Ma'am scanning the Nebula Ship now" SanChez replied and several minutes later "Commodore their weapons are quite inferior to our own; engaging won't be a problem."

"Commodore if I may make a suggestion.....send our two Infiltration Specialists to the Nebula Class Ship....they should be able to rescue Captain Rivers without any problems" Commander O'Connell stated with certainty.

"We have two star ships, out there both with weapons that are no match for us?" Cyndi asked "Something does not feel right. I want to know who is in command of that Nebula Class, as Commander Green said some weapons don't need a cooling system, they can bypass it. We need Rivers back. Question is with that Nebula Class hiding in the asteroid field I can't take the Amandora into it."

"I suppose you could hail the Nebula ship but that may tip our hand" Jamie stated "I could pilot a Shuttle close enough to get the Specialists within transporter range then peel off and keep a safe distance away until they find Captain Rivers then go back and transport them back aboard the Shuttle. I would hate to loose Rivers to the Slave Traders trying to play it safe."

"I'm not going to lose her," Cyndi said firmly

"Commodore we're being hailed,"

"On screen," Cyndi ordered

"Commodore Song we meet again," Eddie sneered "I have one of your crew, try anything and she's the first one to die."

"Brisco, this is a new low even for you," Cyndi retorted "Release her NOW!"

"I have plans for her, she's cute," Eddie responded cutting the link.

Seeing and hearing Brisco made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up "This asshole needs to be put down once and for all" Jamie thought to himself then looking at Cyndi "I don't think we have any more options left, it's either try and get Rivers back now or she may be sold off to the highest bidder" Jamie stated matter of factly.

Overhearing their conversation Cass walked over to the two Officers "If I may make a suggestion" then she continued "I may be able help protect Captain Rivers with my abilities by forming a shield around the both of us until the Specialists can neutralize the situation. This Brisco guy would not be able to penetrate it."

"Don't under estimate him," Cyndi warned "He's cunning and sneaky. We need to rescue Captain Rivers. Be warned we have no idea what he may have done to her. I'll alert sick bay."

Looking at Lieutenant Zolon "Prepare yourself for whatever you may have to do" Jamie ordered then turned to Cyndi "With your permission I'll notify our Infiltration Specialists and also the Shuttle Bay for a Flyer for the Mission."

"As you wish Commander" Zolon replied as she signaled for a replacement at the Science Station.

"Herculoid can cover science or I can have her launch in Rivers fighter and cloak it to provide cover should the need arise," Cyndi suggested "Permission granted bring Alesha home."

"Having Lieutenant Herculoid out there with us probably would be a good idea; a little more insurance wouldn't hurt" O'Connell replied "I'll inform the ladies and get things moving." as he got up and made his way to the Lift while tapping his Comm "Lieutenant Dunjen grab Lieutenant Devroe I'm on my way to you; I'll explain when I get there, O'Connell out."

Cyndi tapped her com-badge "Lieutenant Herculoid suit up and ready Rivers fighter, Commander O'Connell will fill you in. Go get Alesha, Brisco remember is cunning and we have no idea what he may have done to Alesha."
