Mission:
Vanished
Location: Ready Room
Timeline: Current
OFF:
Let’s try to end this mission by Friday, It’s dragged out for a while now and people are losing interest in it. I’m sorry about this mission I had thought it would have been fun as there was something for everyone to do. I have an idea for a new mission and I’ll run it by the XO and Second Officer before it’s put up.
ON:
Tara after receiving word that the commodore wanted to see her headed for the bridge and the ready room. Palming the door chime Tara entered once permission was given. “You wanted to see me?”
“I did lieutenant, please have a seat,” Cyndi said and waited until Tara was seated “Firstly I want to thank you for stepping up to retrieve Rivers fighter and then taking it back out as an escort for Commander O’Connell to rescue Captain Rivers. I need to know if you took out the coms on both ships along with the engines.”
Tara nodded “I did, Brisco is so crippled he’s going to need a tow and I took out the engines on the Orion ship and both ship’s coms. They’ll need some repairs before they can get underway. That’s the advantage of having a fighter aboard that can cloak and fire cloaked.”
“Your people learn to fly young if I remember,” Cyndi commented
“We do, we’re required to join the military at age thirteen, if we want to leave the military we can at age eighteen. Some chose to stay some chose to leave, I left at eighteen at the urging of my parents, Kristian left to pursue medicine while her brother chose to stay. Alesha is the wild card she didn’t leave but chooses to serve Starfleet, her brother is still in the Amazon military,” Tara replied “Alesha as I’m sure you know by now is a hell of a pilot and there is not much she can’t fly.”
“I have noticed and I also have noticed both you and Kristian are accomplished pilots in your own rights,” Cyndi said “That’s why I didn’t argue when you asked to retrieve Rivers fighter.”
“Any chance I get to take it out is treat,” Tara replied “Something I don’t get to do often.”
“I understand as I have a personal shuttle my parents gave me that I don’t use a lot either, “Cyndi replied “See to it reports are sent to the command staff and one to Captain Rivers.”
“You’ll have it in about thirty minutes as I’m also going to include the fighters logs from my flight in it,” Tara said
“Good enough and thank you for coming lieutenant.” Cyndi said indicating the meeting was over.
