“Commodore incoming message from Admiral Wilson,” communications announced

“Patch it through to my ready room,” Cyndi ordered getting to her feet, stretched and walked into her ready room, taking a seat at her desk Cyndi called up her computer, tapping her com-badge “Patch the admiral through,” seconds later the Star Fleet Insignia was replaced by Katrina Wilson “Admiral what can I do for you?”

“You’ve been out of service over a month, I need updates,” Katrina said

Cyndi brought the admiral up to speed on what was going on “That admiral is what is going on.”

“Send me the coordinates of that planet in Orion Space and I’ll get teams there to retrieve our personal, this has to be handled delicately as we don’t want a war with the Orions. As soon as Commander Green as Bachman back aboard your ship, the Ant beings release the base personal, they’ll be checked out by medical I want you back on patrol. Good call in promoting Barnes to captain and Marine XO. His father was is a damned fine officer and no doubt his son is as well. Tell Herculoid good job on disabling both of those two ships. Your crew has preformed above expectations in all of this. Send me a full and detailed report,” Katrina said “Brisco, how badly did Herculoid cripple him?”

“To quote her sir, he’ll need a tow as his engines are fried and not fixable, his com’s are fried. He’s pretty much dead in space,” Cyndi commented

“Good, I’ll order a prison ship out to take him into custody,” Katrina replied

“Be warned Katrina he’s cunning and no doubt pissed that he’s dead in the water,” Cyndi said

“We’ll get him, remember once Green has Bachman,the base personal are back and in command your to leave and resume patrol. I can’t have one of my best ships and crew out of service this long,”Katrina said.

“Understood admiral,” Cyndi responded as the admiral cut the link and the screen went back to showing the Star Fleet Insignia.
