Now that his stint was over on the USS Ohio, and Ro was back among them, Commander O'Connell felt it was high time he checked in with his Tactical/Security Team.

Jamie walked into the Security area looking for Maria. Seeing her over to the one side he walked over "Lieutenant SanChez what's going on" he queried.

Maria looked up and immediately a smile came across her face "Chief you're back!" she stated "So are you going be around for awhile this time" then she grinned trying to be a smart ass.

Jamie gave a light chuckle "Hopefully but that's up to the Commodore and or Commander Green." he replied "So anything I should be made aware of."

"Not really, you know, the same old crap as usual" she answered.

"That's good to hear....I'll look over the Reports later for myself."

"So how was the Ohio by the way" Maria asked with a smirk since she had heard things were pretty dull on all three of the Ships.

"Let's just say I was bored out of my mind.....if I never have to read another Ship's Log it'll be too soon" he replied with a chuckle
"I hear we've had a couple more Crew added to our department."

"Yes I have already met Lieutenant Qa'tok; a Klingon fellow" Maria answered "But I have yet to meet the other person."

"I believe her name is Lieutenant JG Sheyla, but she will be working primarily as a Medical Officer and Tactical as a Secondary from time to time" Jamie explained "But I will make it a point meet her when I get the chance."

"Do you know where she hails from" she queried.

"I think her file says she's Andorian if I'm not mistaken" Jamie replied.

"Oh a blue skin" Maria whispered "This should be interesting."

"Ok, play nice SanChez we don't want to spook the newbie" Jamie replied being quite serious.

Maria grinned "Don't worry Chief, I'll behave....besides you know me."

"Ya exactly, that's why I said it" he retorted with a grin.

"Not to change the subject Chief, but when will we be able to get some replacements for a couple worn out phaser rifles. Other than that the weapons are all in good shape" Maria explained.

"I can ask the Commodore and maybe Major Hurd and see if he has any extras; now that he's back aboard" Jamie replied then continued "So how's the Crew been performing, any problems?"

"Nope, everyone is working fine and well together.....even Fuller is coming around" Maria commented then whispered "That is when he's not trying to get me in the sack" as she giggled.

Jamie grinned "I'm sure you can handle the situation well enough."

"Well Chief when you hear Fuller singing soprano, then you'll know I handled things just fine" she answered only half joking.

Jamie just rolled his eyes "And why do I think you're not really kidding" he retorted "I should be going but I'll see you at zero eight hundred."

"Sounds good Chief, see you tomorrow" Maria commented with a smile turning to finish up a couple of things before packing it in for the day.
