Mission: Wedding Blues And Trouble
Location: Amandora: Alesha's Quarters
Timeline: While The Away Team Is On The Sleeper Ship

OFF:

This takes place while the away team is on the sleeper ship.

ON:

Alesha and Narla left Cyndi’s office and headed to the marine deck and to Alesha’s quarters. There had been no marines in the berthing area when they’d passed which had made getting Narla to her quarters had been easier. Keying in her door code Alesha and Narla stepped inside, Alesha removed her phaser and power pack and set them both on the charger.

Narla walked into the livingroom and took a seat, “You know I had reservations letting you stay aboard a Federation Ship. But you’ve surprised me, I can only assume I have my niece and daughter to thank for this.” Said reverting to the Amazon language

Alesha took a seat across from Narla and nodded “They’ve been a big help, I know I have a lot to prove considering my age and position.” She too reverted to her native language.

Narla shook her head “You’ve proven yourself and I’m impressed. A department head and group commander of a fighter wing at your age is highly impressive. Major Hurd what’s your take on him?”

“I like him, he’s a good man and he does get the respect his position demands,” Alesha responded Sometimes he forgets that I’m not directly under his command and that’s not a big deal. I do require my pilots to train with the marines.”

“Smart move,” Narla agreed “I’ve seen your reports on the fighter wing. How are they doing learning the fighters that your parents gave the ship?”

“It took a bit but they’ve learned them,” Alesha answered “They had a hard time understanding why mine is the only one with a cloak. But after I explained to them that even though it’s aboard the Amandora it is still property of Amzock and the six fighters that were given to the ship now belong to the Federation.”

“Enough shop talk, it’s time to catch up with you and as soon as my niece and daughter get back I want to surprise them too,” Narla said

They spent the next few hours catching up on things.

“Narla your tired, get some rest, I’ve got some paperwork to do. Then when you get up we’ll go to ten forward and get a bite to eat,” Alesha suggested

“I’ll do that and when I get up I’ll replicate a uniform for second lieutenant in the fighter wing that way I won’t stick out,” Narla said getting up from the couch and headed into the spare bedroom in Alesha’s quarters.

Alesha headed for her office and the paperwork that never seemed to end.
