Sabbath was aware of Lt Tara Herculoid's skills and was very relieved she had returned. Arising from his science station seat Sabbath left the bridge in search of his Assistant Chief.

Tara had gone to her office to file a report and catch up with the science department. Spotting a report about a new chief, she opened it and read the message. Lieutenant Sabbath had arrived while she'd been over on the sleeper ship.

Sabbath tapped the transparency and then entered.
" If I am intruding I apologize. I am Sabbath the ships new science officer. "

Tara closed her lap top "No your not intruding, I saw where you'd arrived. I was on an away mission. Please have a seat."

Sabbath complied and then raised his left eye brow.
" I look forward to reading your report Lieutenant Herculoid. "

"I'm working on it, it will be sent to you, the commodore and the XO," Tara replied. "I should tell you I'm also the chief diplomatic officer. Science is my primary department."

" Diplomacy? Fascinating and not too far fetched given your status and position on your homeworld."

"My status and position is on hold, I have signed documentation to prove that. My parents felt that joining Starfleet would be a good thing for when that time comes. Until then I'm just a Starfleet Officer like everyone else," Tara said

" AFFIRMATIVE. " Sabbath replied. " Until I can read the report. What did you find over there?"

"Drifting ship we found to be a sleeper ship. It was doing circles. when we got over there we found it to be sleeper pods. That's the short version," Tara said

" How many were alive? Could you discern the ships origin?" Sabbath added.

"There were about eight to ten sleeper pods, two were found dead, one was outside of a sleeper pod. Doctor Long has the bodies and the rest of the sleeper pods in sick bay, the deceased ones are in the morgue. There are Cardassians in the sleeper pods, as for the origin.the markings are something we've not seen. The doctor has the ships computer running them through known Federation Data Base. If that's not helpful then she'll have me try to figure it out as I hold a minor degree in languages and communications," Tara replied

" Cardassian and other life forms? I too would like to see these beings and their chambers. Can we go there?"

"They're in sick bay," Tara replied "Doctor Long should be okay with it."
