#14 Something Overlooked

Cosmo, and his portly little rotund body, rolled through the corridors of the Amandora. When his sensors picked up humanoid movement he would hide himself until they passed. Master Ro was not aboard, nor were there any Starfleet on board, as far as he could tell. The little droid waited until the wandering patrol of brigands went out of sight and then continued on. His scans showed that there was a very limited number of people aboard, and none had a combadge on...wait.

Detecting the source of power for a combadge, Cosmo ducked into a random conference room. Internal sensors would not pick him up as he was a droid, a mechanical being, and only if someone was actively seeking him out would the internal security system alert anyone. It gave him time to re-scan the ship from his current position, his own personal scanners equal to anything the Amandora had. There; two combadge power sources, both in the Security section, brig area. Chittering back and forth with the ship's computer for a few minutes it was determined that the combadges belonged to a Ensign Frazier, and also Lieutenant Sabbath. Cosmo scanned for another few minutes but found no further combadge resonances. Of course, there were areas he could not scan from where he was in the Primary hull, or that prevented him from scanning with interference due to power output. Anything near a major power source, from a distance, would give inaccurate data. So, if there were more to be found then they could be hiding near to the impulse reactors, the warp core, or any number of plasma manifolds scattered throughout the ship.

Nothing for it, Cosmo pulled his little nanotech scan dish back within himself after it folded up into a small, skinny little arm. If he could make it to the brig without being spotted, there may be a chance to set the two officers free. Not being organic Cosmo did not let out a quick breath for luck, instead choosing to scan for anyone in the hall. No one was there so he darted out the door and made his way through the ship quick as could be. He remained hyper-aware of his surroundings so as not to get caught.
