Doctor Bret Rogers had not performed surgery since his inital boarding on the ship so when the opportunity to do one came Bret was more than ready for it.

Ensign James Frazier was very fond of his pet cat Harry and of late Harry had not been eating. After several scans Bret concluded Harry had swallowed something non degradable.

Taking Harry to sickbay ironically it was concluded he had swallowed a radio active nanotechnology device and it was causing him to lose his appetite.

Today after prepping Harry, Dr Rogers began the exploration of tracking down the nanite. Starting upward into the small bowl then up to the spleen the scope stopped whennit found the mass and the dormant nanite.

A moment after the insert gripped the mass suddenly Harry's eye opened and he began to squirm. Dr Rogers knew he had seconds and clearly made the decision to extract the scope and pulled it out of the cat's rectum.

Harry jumped off the table and then ran to a corner of the surgical suite hissing and scratching and pooping every where.

" Dr Rogers to security. I am in surgery one and my patient has jumped off the table. " Bret yelled.
