On his third attempt to access information from his console, he still saw the same error message requesting that he recheck his clearance level and, if in doubt, contact security. Not wishing to tempt fate, he taps his combadge.

=^= Lieutenant Mil to Lieutenant Parker, do you have a few minutes to join me in Main Engineering? My terminal is asking me to speak to you. Well, not specifically you, just security. =^=

Emma sent a message back that she was on her way. She walked through the ship and entered engineering, looking for Lieutenant Mil. Seeing him, she headed over. "What can I assist you with?"

"Oh, hello there, welcome to Engineering. Anyway, I appear to be unable to access certain files from my console. I've tried three times, and I felt that was enough and didn't want to risk anything further. I wondered if you could figure out why my security clearance isn't working on these engineering files. "

He pointed to the screen where it displayed the files in question along with the current insufficient clearance warning.

"Of course," Emma said as she moved forward, accessing the computer. "How long have you been on board?" She asked.

"Not long. Still getting used to the ship. I've always loved the Vesta class since I first saw her design schematics. "

"She is the best," Emma replied with a smile. "And the crew is great." She kept typing away. "I'll have you all fixed up in just a moment."

"Thank you, it's much appreciated."

"It's just a matter of resetting your clearances," Emma explained. She turned to him. "Let's see if you can log on and get where you want to go."

Tuhjer logged back in. "Would you look at that. Thing of beauty. All my access is back." He tapped the file he was trying to get to, and the full schematics came on the screen. "Wonderful. Thank you so much. Best get back on this job. Thanks again."

As Tuhjer got back into the job at hand, now that his access was working, Parker left Main Engineering.
