Mission: Star Base Mercury
Location: Runabout Obed
Timeline: Concurrent to Post 25

On

Will Raymond and Kordell felt defeated as their own health was slowly changed while trying to save the freighter.

" Commander this is no way for a warrior to die." Kordell said looking at his old hands.

Will did too but he was more focused on figuring out what had occured.

" Computer retracebour exact course back to sector two."

COURSE CONFIGURED

" Sir what's your plan to make us oldet? What if next time we end up younger? We won't be abke to manuver the ship?" Kordell questioned.

" Valid point but I won't die without fighting. I have a daughter on the way and a wife and son." Will replied.

The Obed followed the course.

Beeps and whistles later the runabout reached its last coordinates.

" Sensors detect a runabout and freighter to port sir...its the other us." Kordell reported.

< Other side >

This Obed quickly scanned the freighter and realized the chronoton effects on the freighter.

A single voice appeared to Will as an old lady come to view.

" I am,Rochell Kepler, last of,this crew. If only you could have saved us, why didn't you come sooner?"

Will bowed.

" We came as soon as we could. Mrs,Kepler I can beam you to the Obed?" Will replied.

" NO! I will die with my peers. Old and alone." Kepler replied.

Kordell got Wills attention.

" Sir we are being hailed by...another us. Another Obed located on the other side of the chronoton displacement."

" On screen."

Will could not believe his eyes as their elder selves appeared.

" Ok older me. How do we fix this?" young Will asked.

*' You tell me fly boy. Somehow we were temporally seperated. Look in the memory banks and see if this has ever occured?'* the elder ordered his younger self.

Will thought back and made an educated guess. Looking at the screen he saw a temporal event horizon.

" Will..the best explanation is paradoxial. The best course is for us to reverse what we did. The only problem is you and this Obed have to switch positions. One of us is positve and the other negative energy. We some how must have switched polarities. Were your shields at full power?"

"* Yes they were."*

" Ours were not sir." Kordell added.

Will continued.

" Adjust your shields to maximum and we will ram your chronoton field like we did before. If I am right we will be restored.

*' If you're right we will cease to exist.*'

" That is true. But the time line will be restored," Will replied.

Old Will nodded.

*' Just raise my kids right young me.'* old Will scolded.

Their science made no,sense but in the end it worked as Will and Kordell were once again restored to this universe.

" You know sir I hope to die in battle not as an old warrior." Kordell told Will.

" I for one have never felt younger Lieutenant."

The freighter was just up ahead as visual also showed them nearing Starbase Mercury.
