ON:

Bjorgo lay on his back, a blade of local field grass in his mouth, with Kahn lying on her back, extending out to his left as she had her head resting on his belly as a pillow. Tore, himself, was using his backpack as a pillow. They looked completely casual, as if this sort of behaviour was normal.

"Thanks for letting me spelunk a bit, Tore." Offered Liza. She turned her head to look at his face.

In turn, Bjorgo met her gaze looking through the bottom of his eyelids. "You learned quite a bit about the age of this planet. It was an indulgance, sure, but it was also scientific research. How that data is gathered is irrelevant." He smiled.

Liza giggled as she looked back up at the clear blue sky, both their bodies being warmed in the sunshine. "Damn, you sounded almost Vulcan there for a moment."

Tore chuckled. "Logic is what it is. Vulcans use it to save themselves from constant war. We use it when it's prudent. Either way, it is always correct since logic has no agenda."

"Stop," she elbowed his ribs as she gave another giggle. "Now you're just being an ass about it."

"Par for the course," replied Bjorgo, chuckling. "That little farming community we just left was pleasant. I was quite surprised by their state of health. It seems hard work combined with the simple life does extend Human life medically. They seem healthier."

Liza sat up suddenly, spinning on her buns to face him in lotus. "There is a crystal clear lake nearby, up in the mountains. The locals speak of it with reverance. Let's go have a look. Maybe it can be explained scientifically. If not, spritually works too." She gave a weak smile, asking in earnest for this favor with her expression. The pleading eyes got to him.

Seeign that look, the askance expression done with all seriousness, and the pleading eyes of a woman in need. Tore's heart broke through his resolve. "Oh, very well. Last one, then back tot hen ship. Sickbay is calling to me from afar."

"Promise," she responded as they stood up, with Liza hugging him. "Thank you. I mean it." She stepped off quickly, gathered her gear, and off they went.
