STARBASE MERCURY

A Vulcan shuttle quickly drooped out of warp carrying the welded tomb for Kordell.

Hired by Kuvot, the brother of Kordell, to ferry the deceased body back to DS 9, the shuttle planned a quick delivery.

Also aboard was an unknown Klingon female, sent to over see this transaction.

H'iri, Master Sergeant Dallas and Commander Will Raymond made up the funeral durge to deliver the remains.

" Hello I am Commander Will Raymond. Kordell was my friend. Please inform his brother I am sorry for his loss."

The lady said nothing at first but then asked a question.

" You also had the parasite but yet you lived and Kordell was killed? Ironic." said the female warrior. " Has the murderer been arrested?"

" The Cap..I mean Major was cleared of the charge. " H'iri added.

" Promoted for commiting murder? The house of Qagh will not be happy to hear this."

" It just coincided with the event. Major Hurd is a valued memeber of our crew." said Will.


" And Kordell was not. How convenient. Rest assured we will be back." replied the warrior.

As Kordell's body entered the casket Master Sergeant Dallas added.

" Ma'am Kordll was no saint. He cheated at cards and smelled awful but he was a good soldier and a friend. "

" He deserved a warriors death not to be murdered unarmed. Only a coward or a Romulan murders an unarmed officer, " the lady replied.

As she entered Will considered that he might see her again.
