[Fighter Wing - Shuttle Bay]

Lt. Hastings was bored for the time being. As the USS Amandora was completing its current mission with the Space Station, Brian was afforded some time to meet the new crew and check in on some operations that had an interest for him. One of them being the Fighter Wing.

Entering the bay, Hastings made his way to the Fighter Wings detachment, stationed with umbilical supports attached to the various components. Along his way, Brian had whistled to himself at the fancy wings. "Nice work!" He spoke to nobody in particular.

Just then, he had turned to see a dashing female. "Uh. Hello!" Lt. Hastings spoke in his Aussie accent. "How are you doing, Mate?" He had immediately recognized her ranking and that
she probably was the Fighter Wing Commander. If he was correct, her name was 1St Lt. Rivers.

Alesha had been checking on her personal fighter when she heard someone speak to her. Jumping off the built in ladder, taping a panel the ladder disappeared back into the fighter. "Hi yourself," Alesha greeted "What brings you down here? I'm Alesha Rivers,"

“What brings me down here, she asks!” Hastings laughed. “Uh! These incredible fighters. What class are they?” He had not been afforded full information on the fleet that was stationed in the cargo bay. He was busy learning the controls of the Amadora.

Brian had walked close to the massive wing engines that were multi ablative armor, dutanium, and polyanium alloys. “Incredible.” Hastings whistled.

"They are very impressive, I've not had the chance to take one out yet. I've flown one in the simulator. These are Delta's, most of them are two a two person fighter," Alesha said running her hand along the one that was hers. "This one is the one I'll pilot. The fighter you saw me at when you first walked in is my personal fighter from my home planet,"

Hastings crossed his arms examining the craft and had stopped when he heard that Alesha had a personal craft on board. "Pardon me? You have a personal fighter?" Brian had turned his head in the direction of 1St. Lieutenant's personal fighter. "Is that a Viper edition?" He was quite impressed.

"You have a good eye," Alesha said "It is a Viper, and it's from my home planet. Even the equipment on it are in my native language. There are only two others aboard who can read it. It carries a cloaking device as well. I haven't asked permission to fly it. I brought General Long out in it when I was transferred to this ship. Would you like to sit in it?"

"Would I like?" Hastings burst into a giddy laugh. "That's the understatement of the Galaxy!" He looked back at Alesha, as he then anxiously walked across to the parked Viper craft. "This thing is a beast!" Brian had gawked.

"So your craft is in all Amazon Language?" He grunted "Damn it!" He had winked cheekily at Rivers. He helped pulling aside the fighter support ramps to the craft.

"I can easily convert it," Alesha said entering her security code to unlock the raft and palming a sensor allowing the hidden ladder to appear. Climbing aboard Alesha made a few adjustments switching the onboard computers and flight systems to Federation Standard before climbing down. "I've switched it over to Federation Standard. Feel free to climb in and have a look. But remember this is not a Federation craft, but one from my home planet."

"Of course." Hastings had taken a good jump up the steps, holding on tightly. He then seated his self into the Viper. The controls and the powered systems hummed with a softness that Federation Crafts didn't quite have. His eyes feverishly looked over the controls. "This is quite impressive." He looked at the clocking valves and monophasic anodyne thrusters. Hasting's whistled. "She is one rowdy ride, Lieutenant. I would be honored if you ever wanted to have me along for a test?" Brian raised his brows repeatedly raising them humorously.

"Well should the commodore grant me permission to take it out for a flight I'll let you ride along," Alesha said

"Glad I had imposed myself on you for a ride, then." He grinned.

"My pleasure," Alesha said securing her fighter

"Well. I have taken up a lot of your time Lieutenant. Thank you for the tour. I should probably head back to the Bridge." Hastings, said. He was happy to have visited and met the new 1st Lieutenant.
