The duties of the executive officer was non the less just as vital as that of the Captain. Parallel to this was to maintain good relationship with the ships crew.

Next on Will Raymonds list was the ships Chief Science Officer Lt Tara Herculoid.

Vectoring from lift to the science station will paused behind Tara's chair.

" Lt Herculoid, I am Will Raymond ships XO. Do you have time to talk with me in the ready room? " Will greeted and asked.

Tara had just finished the final calibration on the sensors and turned to look at the executive officer. "I have time," turning to one of her officers "Take over for me." seeing his nod she got to her feet "After you commander."

Will led her to the briefing room and immediately bowed or seemed to but was actually picking up his stylus that had come out of his PaDD.

" Sorry about that. So Tara Herculoid, Chief Science Officer welcome to the Amandora. "

Tara raised an amused eyebrow when the ships first officer bowed to her but said nothing. "Thank you commander, it's good to be here even if I didn't have a lot of notice."

" The life of a trekker. To boldly go on a moments notice. As you know we are on shake down, that said please see that the science stations are on line and fully functioning as I know you will. " said Will.

"I was drafted," Tara commented "I'd taken an extended leave after my last assignment and Admiral Wilson came to Amzock and used a re-activation clause and here I am despite my protests. But rest assured commander I'll give the job my full attention and yes I do plan to have not only the bridge science station at full capicity but the labs as well.}


" Amzock huh? Race of beautiful women? Wonder women?"

"Beautiful perhaps but no nothing like wonder woman. They are slightly stronger but not a super power."

" My Dad went there and spoke of your world. Welcome to Amandora Tara
I can't wait to work with you." Will replied.

"Thank you commander," Tara said "It's good to be here. If your dad went to my world he probably spoke to my parents. We welcome visitors."

" Dad's ship probably went there. My Dad hates transporters and no doubt stayed aboard. Or watch too many Wonder Woman movies. He loves old movies." Will joked.

" Well I will meet back out there on the bridge. " Will gestured as he stood up.

Tara got to her feet as well "And I have a junior officer to relieve. It was good to meet you commander."
