Little time availed will to see Amethyst before leaving on the away mission.

" Amethyst are you here?”

Amethyst smiled as she appeared from the washroom. “I’m here. Are you ready to head off on the away mission?”

" No and yes . I want you there and need you there but Flora and Kal need their mother more. I will never understand the Commodores remarks but I dropped it. After this mission let's look at our options about resettling to a base. The kids need dirt to play in Amethyst. I can write my own ticket being a Commander now," Will replied.

“Are you sure that’s what you want to do?” Amethyst gave her husband a questioning glance. “Would you really be happy being stuck on a base instead of out here amongst the stars? I know it’s not ideal for the kids but plenty of families raise their kids on ships.”

" I'm not sure Imzadi but your career is every bit as important as mine. When I get back I'll hopefully have figured it out." Will replied.

Amethyst nodded. “Whatever you decide I’ll stand by you, if you go then we go with you. I’m not being separated from you again.”

"Nor I you Imzadi. I will be back..." Will said kissing Amethyst.

Amethyst returned her husband’s kiss. “Be careful Imzadi, you don’t know what’s waiting for you down there.”

" It's more dangerous up here." Will said as he exited the office.

Amethyst stood and watched him go before turning back to her desk and returning to her work.
