After having a delightful 'date night' last night in ten-forward with James, Heather wanted to get the last two meetings done today so she could start working in the Labs tomorrow.

Tapping her Comm "Lt. Heather McTavish to Lt. Amethyst Raymond I was wondering if we could meet for a few minutes at your convenience"

“By all means” Amethyst smiled as she looked around her office, she’d need to do a quick tidy as Kal had been visiting for the school lunchtime and had left all the toys she used for younger patients all over the floor. “I’m in my office so feel free to drop by.”

"Thank you Counselor, I'll be there shortly" Heather replied as she grabbed her PADD and was on her way.

Heather walked up to the office door and knocked" Hi, I'm Lt. Heather McTavish."

“Come on in Heather” Amethyst smiled warmly. “Please feel free to call me Amethyst” she motioned towards the seats. “Make yourself at home.”

"Thank you Amethyst" Heather replied as she sat down "I'm pleased to meet you."

“Likewise” Amethyst smiled warmly. “So how are you settling in onboard the Amandora?”

"Quite well actually. I'm starting to know my way around fairly well; matter of fact James and I visited ten-forward last evening for a 'date night' which we hadn't had in awhile; then he showed me all of the Labs aboard ship." Heather answered feeling surprisingly at ease talking to a Counselor.

“Sounds wonderful” Amethyst smiled warmly. “It sounds like you’ve both settled in well. Have there been any problems or do you have any worries?”

Heather sat and thought for a few moments "Problems....not really; things seem to be going pretty well. Of course I've only been on board a couple of days. As far as worries....none that I can think of" she replied.

“Excellent” Amethyst smiled warmly. “It’s always nice to have easy evaluations!”

"Glad I could help making your job easier" Heather said with a chuckle "I am eager to be cleared for duty; as much as I have enjoyed a few days away from my normal routine, I'm also looking forward to getting back to work."

“I can imagine, disruption to routine is disturbing enough in itself it’s always a plus point to be able to get back to work. Now is there anything you’d like to ask or anything you need to talk about?”

Heather sat and thought for a few moments "As far as needing to talk about anything....no, not really. The only thing I need to ask is are you going to clear me for duty" she said being very sincere.

Amethyst smiled warmly. “I’m pleased to say yes!” She tapped her PADD. “I’ve updated your file so you’re free to get stuck in whenever you like.”

"Thank you Amethyst and if I may add you are the easiest Counselor that I've ever talked to. You have the ability to really make people feel at ease and I appreciate that. " Heather commented I have one more meeting that I want to try and get done today. Thank you for your time and again it was very nice to have met you."

With that Heather left the Counselor's office and thought she would see if she could do one more meeting.
