Post Number 37 Going To The Ruins

After convinicing the commander that she could handle herself Kristian pulled out the tri-coder Tara had given her to use and began to scan the area. After running several scans it didn’t take her long to find the area that Murrrt and Lurrrsa had told the away team was off limits. Kristian loved a challenge and even on her home planet there was a city that was forbidden. But that had never stopped Kristian or her cousin Tara from venturing into it to look around. Getting caught would mean a lecture from her uncle. He never told either her or her cousin why the old city was forbidden and here on this planet Lurrrsa had been quick to say that the old ruins were off limits. What were these beings hiding? There was only one way to find out.

Kristian set off toward the forbidden area to see just what was going on and if they were hiding something. If not she’d tell them that she’d gotten lost. Following the tri-coder’s reading Kristian soon was in the forbidden area and marveled at the old ruins that were there. After running several more scans of the structures Kristian was about to head to another part of the ruins when she heard voices and footsteps. Spotting an opening in one of the structures Kristian bolted for it and ducked inside. Luckly there were not footprints as the ground was rock. The voices stopped just outside her hiding place.

“Those cat things won’t come in here, they’re afraid of it,” voice one said

“And I heard them tell those visitors this place was off limits,” voice two responded

“Think they bought it?” voice one asked

“They better hope so as if any one came in here they won’t leave alive,” voice two said

With the voices so close to the structure she was hiding in Kristian made sure all of her equipment was turned down low so it couldn’t be heard, removing her com-badge she slipped it into her pocket and quietly moved to a different room in the structure only to find a gun pointed at her.
