Lt Suvak only had a few minutes to go down to the Counselors office but she did so anyways. Still having moments of regret she went to get her counseling session over with.
In her office T’Mia was just wrapped up with her latest appointment, it seemed she was having a busy day.
" This is Suvak ... Do I need to come back Counselor?" Suvak asked.
“Of course not Suvak” T’Mia smiled. “Please come in.”
" Thank you. I will be brief Counselor as I have double bridge duty. Having made peace and confession has helped easy my Pon Farr symptoms. The medicine also helps. Another technique is the Vulcan meditation ritual. I would just need permission from you to synthesize the ritual candles from the replicator. It takes a prescription from a licensed professional." Suvak told her.
T’Mia nodded. “Of course. I may be half Vulcan but I still go through Pon’farr just as you do.” She picked up a PADD and tapped something into it. “Okay the candles are authorized for you to replicate.”
" I appreciate that Counselor . Thank you so if you will excuse me I am running late," Suvak replied.
T’Mia nodded. “Ohh Suvak... any problems you come back and see me!”
" I will Counselor."

Odac Yova also needed counseling but all he could think about now was Ellie Kees the young science officer he had gotten in trouble over a evening trust that ruined both of their careers.
Given the mission he had a very busy duty schedule but his subconscious couldn't get the fair Ellie out of his head.
" Sir...the code isn't working. " Tech Bates reported.
" The what? Oh the log in code...Try Ellie Keys." Odac spelled.
" That worked sir but she spells her last name Kees." said Bates.
" Who does?" Odac replied
" The new science girl....the one you like." Bates replied.
" I don't like anyone." Odac lied.
" Then why did you use her name to be your log in? Hence your girl friend " Bates added.
" Go do a diagnostic or something. " Odac yelled. Damn Bates he was right. For the first time in life Ellie had gotten under his skin and made him want to see her again. Usually one date and then move on but this time...since his trust with Amethyst he had met possible the love of his life like the prophets had told him.
" Bates I'll be right back." Odac said as he was overwhelmed.
< Medical Deck >
Odac needed some help to focus and hoped the Doctor could help but as he saw Suvak leaving the counselor he decided to pop in.
" Hey do you got a minute? I need some help Counselor." Odac asked .
T’Mia smiled it seemed she was definitely having a busy day. “By all means Lieutenant, please come into my office.”
" Counselor I hate to just barge in...I am having a problem.... it's causing me to not focus on my job as I need to." Odac admitted.
“Okay...” She motioned to the seats. “Please sit, and tell me what this problem is.”
Odac dreaded this part, remembering his mess with Amethyst. His affection for Ellie was the realest he had ever known . But given his track record and recent behaviors it was better they were not together
" As acting chief I have to be focused. But I need to stop thinking about some stuff and people. Is there any chance you use hypnosis?" Odac asked.
“I wouldn’t recommend it Lieutenant.” T’Mia shook her head. “Who or what is it that’s disturbing you so much?”
" I'd rather not name names . I don't really want any meds either. I just need to stop thinking about ...stuff." Odac replied .
“Does this stuff have anything to do with your recent reprimand?” T’Mia held up the added notes on Odac’s personnel file. “Perhaps to do with Ellie Kees?”
Odac sighed. "I can't discuss this Counselor. I ruined her career and will mine if I can't get over this."
T’Mia nodded. “You haven’t ruined Ms Kees career Odac, and if you don’t talk about it then how are you going to solve your problem? What you say here stays here, don’t worry about that.”
" I dream about her...I spell her name in my food..I feel like I'm ten again. I am either sick or in love. But I can't be because it is irrelevant...she probably hates me. They really punished her worse than me." Odac opened up.
“Have you asked her?” T’Mia gazed at Odac curiously. “Have you thought that perhaps she feels as much to blame? She may think that you don’t want to speak to her anymore.”
" We met once, real quick , in ten forward. But both of us are ...punished by heartless leaders that have never known true love." Odac added
“You may not be able to meet for the time being but you can message each other. Talk to her Odac, explain how you feel, you may be pleasantly surprised. Actually...” T’Mia paused. “Be back here this evening end of shift, tell them you have an appointment with me. I’ll arrange for Ms Kees to be here to talk to you.”
" You will? I don't want to get you in trouble . " he said. " But if I could just see her."
“You won’t” T’Mia smiled. “It’s a joint counselling session as far as anyone else is concerned.”
" I like the way you think Counselor. Well I've held you up too long. Ill be back later " Odac replied.
T’Mia nodded. “My pleasure Lieutenant I’ll see you then.”
