Posted on Wed Sep 22nd, 2021 @ 11:14pm by Commodore Cyndi Song

Mission: Repairs, Upgrades And Shore Leave
Location: Bridge
Timeline: Current

OFF:

With the permission of Lieutenant McKeon I’m ending the mission. He informed me earlier today that his job is keeping him away from moving things along. There have been cut backs with staff, more cut backs staff wise are coming resulting in longer hours and fewer days off. At some point we’ll be able to return to this mission and see how things are going. Posting will return to 1.

ON:

With the formal dinner over and everyone had gotten a good night’s sleep, Cyndi met with Princess Glenna, Ambassador Keelflex and Ambassador Ferin in the conference room. After two long days of talks and agreements and disagreements all three finally agreed to a government that would be made up by all three parties with the Princess being the one in charge as it was her planet to begin with. But any major decisions would be discussed and voted on by all three delegates. They’d meet weekly to discuss things and see what if any changes needed to be made. A cease fire was now underway. Everything was finalized and several Federation ships had arrived to help in the rebuilding and treating injured. New industries would soon be operational as well. The personal on the planet were recalled to the ship.

After seeing the Princess and the Ambassadors off the ship Cyndi headed for the bridge, after nearly a month in orbit it was time to get underway. Taking her seat “Helm take us out of orbit, set course for Mars, we’re due for some upgrades. Once clear of the solar system engage to warp six. Mars Station has already cleared us to dock when we get there,” Cyndi said as the ship left orbit and jumped moments later to warp.

After three days later the Amandora docked at Mars Station for some upgrades and minor repairs “Communications open ship wide,” Cyndi ordered

“You’re on commodore,” communications announced seconds later

“All hands this is the commodore, we’ve docked at Mars Station, the ship will be undergoing some minor repairs and some upgraded. Mars personal will have access to the ship and will be doing the work. Shore leave will commence in an hour, keep Mars Station and myself posted as to where you’ll be at all times should we have to get underway. We should be here for about a month. Relax and enjoy your free time. Jobs well done everyone,”
