With the ship in dock and the crew officially on shoreleave Ellie made her way to Yova’s Quarters, now they wouldn’t be restricted by the rules that were keeping them apart she wanted to see him. She was hoping they could spend shoreleave together.

Yova had worked very hard these many weeks to both impress command and to sober up. With luck though he and Ellie might have some time.

Tapping his comm badge he chanced asking her out.

" Ellie are you busy?"

Moments later his door chimed, as the door opened he was greeted by the site of Ellie standing outside. “Actually I was about to ask you the same thing!”

Instinctively he grabbed Ellie and hugged her as he might an old friend.

" I have thought about you every day since we were punished." Yova declared.

“Likewise” Ellie offered a warm smile. “So how’s about we head across to the station? We could do some shopping, go for a picnic in the Arboretum, maybe rent ourselves some quarters?” She grinned.

" Yea that shopping sure sounds good." Yova laughed but then raised her left hand and kissed it. " I'll start with this and take two to go "

Ellie grinned. “I’ll take as much of that as you want to give! I’ve missed you Yova.”

Pulling her inside their shopping time began early and after they took a shuttle down to Utopia Planetia.

The Sol system was not Yova's home but he had learned early make himself at home anywhere he could. Usually finding a bar, dabo table and some girls was his norm. But this time all his attention was on Ellie, at least for the next week.

Ellie was having a great time, she normally ended up staying aboard ship or going it alone, but now she had a special man to spend her time with. “Yova is there anywhere you’d like to go?”

" We have a week or longer how far away is your home?" Odac asked her.

“My parents home is in Scotland. A place called Muir of Ord to be exact, it’s generally looked after by our family’s caretaker while we’re all away. I never really bothered with my own home, I’m never there to need it!” Ellie grinned. “Would you like to go there?”

" Yes sounds great Muir of Ord, sounds mystical. Let's leave today." Yova smiled . He grew up on Bajor when it was still rebuilding and knew very little if how it was now following the war.

Ellie smiled. “That’s the beauty of transporter hubs, you can just pick the one that gets you closest to your destination and be there in no time at all. In-fact it’s only a short shuttle trip from the hub in Inverness to the door, provided by my family’s caretaker. We’ll have the home to ourselves!” She kept smiling as she thought about it. “Our home is all on one level, four bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite, large open plan kitchen, diner and living area with wooden floors, a garage that has a games room in it, a descent size garden, and best of all just across the road to the side of the property is a fast slowing river. The area itself is quiet, and peaceful.”

" Take me to this place." Yova replied.

Ellie grinned. “No time better than the present. Just let me give the caretaker a heads up and we can go. At least then we won’t have to wait at the transporter hub for too long.”

Yova hugged Ellie again and poured them a drink to celebrate. This would be his first time to Earth as a tourist.
