Post Number 11 Getting Ready For The Away Mission

Tara had gone to science for a field kit, and after leaving word with her department headed for the shuttle bay. While not a fan of spiders this was a good way to study them, That and if there was the chance someone was still alive out there.

Tara walked into the shuttle bay a short time later, the impulse shuttle was being readied and as soon as engineering had the anti-matter pod on it, the shuttle would launch leaving the away team to launch. But would it be a rescue or a recovery? Or both, that remained to be seen. Spotting the fighters as they sat off to one side Tara couldn’t help but wish she could take one out. It had been years since she’d flown a fighter, not since she was about sixteen and on Amzock. Not able to resist the urge Tara walked over to one of the fighters and ran her hand along its sleek hull. Turning Tara headed over to where the away team had begun to assemble. Spotting another officer in she walked over and offered her hand in greeting.

“I don’t think we’ve met, I’m Lieutenant Herculoid the science chief, you must be new.”
