Post Number 23 Messages Sent/ Odd Readings On Sensors

Once Tara had sent the department heads the message from the commander that they were now heading at warp five on course Planet Glintok, where the ship holding the commodore was. The planet was used for slave trading and this was where the commodore was being held and possibly could be put up for sale. The planet was near the commodore's home planet of Klavor but was not governed by Klavor.

Tara turned her attention back to her sensors; since speed had increased the range of sensors had also increased. The Planet Glintok was just coming on sensor range. The sensors indicated there were countless ships in orbit and how they’d ever figure out what one the commodore was being held on would be daunting. They were not close enough for any other readings.

Glancing at the ready room Tara as well as the rest of the bridge officers were curious as to the transmission from the rear admiral. Turning her attention back to her sensors just as McTavish stepped onto the bridge. “James come look at this. I’m getting an odd reading from one of those ships out there orbiting Glintok. The transponder is blinking in a pattern I’ve never seen before. I have a minor degree in communications but I’ve never seen a reading like that before. I wonder if it’s a malfunction.”
