Turning her attention back to her sensors just as McTavish stepped onto the bridge. “James come look at this. I’m getting an odd reading from one of those ships out there orbiting Glintok. The transponder is blinking in a pattern I’ve never seen before. I have a minor degree in communications but I’ve never seen a reading like that before. I wonder if it’s a malfunction.”

James walked over to the Science Station to have a look at what Tara had discovered. Watching it a few minutes, James realized he had seen that pattern before....but where was the question. Turning to Tara "It's not a malfunction; it's something else...but what."

He stood just watching the pattern for several more minutes....it was consistent in it's pattern....then he realized that it would repeat itself after a few seconds....James had a thought.

Looking at Tara with a smirk "Our luck may have just changed. Computer access the files from the Klavorian Military Intelligence Communications Archives....specifically Communications Code" he stated. "Checking now...it will take a few minutes" the Computer replied.

After a few minutes "Archive and Communications Code found" the Computer informed James. "Good now apply that code to the blinking Transponder signal....is there any similarities" he asked.

A few seconds went by "Yes there are similarities...the blinking is forming letters" came the reply.

At this point James was becoming a little impatient with the Computer "Well what are the letters" he blurted out.

"S O S" was the answer. Turning to Tara "I think we may have found out what ship the Commodore is on" James stated with a hopeful smile. Now to let the acting Captain know.
