Post Number 25 Kidnapped

Mission: Kidnapped
Location: Commodore's Quarters
Timeline: Slight Backpost

Alister paused outside the Commodore' quarters and glanced to both sides of the hallway before pressing the admittance chime.

Paul hearing the door chime wondered who it could be, walking to the door he palmed the sensor, seeing one of Cyndi's office stepped back "Lieutenant what do I owe this visit to? Please come in.”

“Thank you,” Alister said with a nod of his head as he entered, he glanced around and made his way to the sofa, “Just volunteering for a rather difficult duty.” He motioned to a chair, “Please sit, sit, all will become clear shortly.”

"Why do I get the feeling I'm not going to like this?" Paul asked taking a seat.

“Because you’re not going to like what I have to say,” Alister replied. “We where having a department head meeting when a transporter cycle was initiated. The Commodore was beamed out of her ready room by a group claiming to be the Old Republican Guard from her home world.”

"How the hell? Never mind I know that answer, all they had to do was scan for a Klavorian life sign and she's the only one aboard. That Old Republican Guard I heard rumors about it when I married Cyndi. Her father told me about it, according to him it died off fifty years or so ago. But if what your telling me is true. They know Cyndi's a Princess and they have a deep hatred for the Royals. They'll kill her," Paul commented "What are their demands?"

“They want the senior officer to call them to issue their demands,” Alister said making a note to check and see if he had any contacts that could get in touch with the Klavorian royal family. “General Long is taking care of that.”

"I'll contact her parents, it will be better coming from me," Paul said "They need to put things on alert."

“What can you tell me about the Old Republican Guard,” Alister asked, “The Commodore’s parents will be contacted by the General. The matter has went beyond an internal affair when they kidnapped a Federation Flag officer from a Federation ship. We will see what their demands are and then get the Commodore back.”

"I don't know much about them, when I married Cyndi her mother told me about the Old Republican Guard and that under the old rulers they were the ones who protected the Royal Family but when Klavor joined the Federation the those guards were no longer needed and it was disbanded. Why she didn't say. Cyndi was the first of her people to join Starfleet. That old guard has not been heard from in over fifty years," Paul said "Her father told me when they were phased out that there was a faction who hated the fact Klavor was now part of the Federation and over time the old guard took assignments with the Klavorian Military. Cyndi is one of four who holds the codes to the Palace and planet security defenses," Paul said.

“Then they will need her alive,” Alister said, “That gives us time to find and locate her. I’m not sure what they are going to demand but we will have to see what they are requesting for freeing the Commodore.”

"As soon as they find out what's happened to Cyndi those codes will be changed. Cyndi can be stubborn but she does have a breaking point. Just tell me what I can do to help. I can't sit here and do nothing while my wife's life is at steak, our son needs her," Paul said

“And we will do everything to get her back,” Alister replied, “Right now the best thing to do is be their for your son, and if you can think about any other info about this Old Republican Guard to let us know. Until we get a firm handle on why they grabbed her and what they want going off half cocked is a very bad idea and puts the Commodore in greater risk.”

"Our son is safe on Klavor with Cyndi's parents. As for that Old Republican Guard I've told you all I know," Paul said

Alister nodded his head, “I’ll speak with General Long and see if she wants you to contact the Royal Family or does she want to be the one to break the news.”

"It would be better coming from me. But if the general wants to contact them that's fine too. I'll hear from my in laws I'm sure once they find out " Paul said "Just find her,."

“We’ll find her and bring her back,” Alister said, “If you need anything let myself or one of my department know, and I’ll see what I can do.”

"Thank you lieutenant," Paul said "I'll remember that. I'm sure once the Royal Family finds out I'll hear from them. She's an only child."

Alister nodded as he stood up, “We’ll get her back, if you’ll excuse me I’ve got some comm calls to make to try and hunt down our kidnappers.”


"Please keep me posted," Paul said as Alistar headed out
