Lieutenant JG Nix Dunjen had just finished her chat with the Counselor and figured she should meet with her immediate boss next. Tapping her Comm "Lieutenant McKeon this is Lieutenant JG Dunjen....I was wondering if we could meet at your convenience."

Alister glanced over at the terminal on his desk and glanced at his schedule, “I have time right now for a meeting,” he replied to her communication.

"On my way Lieutenant" Nix replied then made her way to his Office. Arriving at the door Nix activated the chime and waited for a response.

“Enter,” Alister said placing a PADD on the side of desk.

Nix walked into the Office within three feet of the desk and stood tall...shoulders back "Lieutenant JG Nix Dunjen the new Infiltration Specialist....thank you for seeing me Sir" she stated eyes looking straight ahead." She knew first impressions were important when dealing with your immediate superior.

Alister looked up, “We’re not in the Marines, you can lay off that parade ground stuff unless the brass shows up,” he said returning her salute before waving a hand to one of the chairs in front of his desk. “Want anything to drink?”

Nix relaxed then smiled as she sat in the offered seat "Yes....I'll take a water please" she replied feeling somewhat more at ease.

Alister nodded standing up and ordering a water from the replicator behind his desk, placing it in front of her. “There you go, one water.” Sitting himself down he reached out and grabbed a coffee mug, “Welcome aboard Amandora, I’ve been reading over your file, I’m surprised with your martial arts background you chose Intelligence over Security or the Federation Marines.”

"Well I guess you could say Intelligence is in my blood.....you see my Mother teaches Intelligence Tactics at a University on Trill" Nix explained then continued "But my knowledge of weapons and skills in the Martial Arts works to my advantage as an Infiltration Specialist."

“I’m sure it has,” Alister said leaning back in his chair, “Trill intelligence have always been good at their jobs. Deep uncover infiltration is something I’ve managed to avoid, pretty sure I don’t have the proper mindset for it. I brought part of a special operations team onboard with me, and we did receive our full compliment of toys from Intelligence, so we should have everything you need.”

"That's good to know...I'll have to check out your inventory and see if there's anything I'm missing or can be upgraded.....although I usually take care of my own gear....If my life depends on what I have then I want to know it's up to my standards" Nix explained hoping she hadn't ruffled any feathers with her explanation.

Before Alister could give Nix an answer he was notified of an incoming call from Star Fleet Intelligence. Nix smiled "I can see your busy Lieutenant.....thanks for seeing me....I'll be on my way" she commented as Alister looked up and nodded.
