Now that the meeting with Tara and Cyndi was finished Nix had some prep work to do....but first she would go back to her Quarters and make a call to an old associate.

{Quarters}

Nix had contacted Communications to put in a call for her "Lieutenant your call is coming through now....sending it to your quarters" the Comm Officer replied.

Nix sat at her Terminal when a familiar face appeared on the screen "Nix Dunjen, long time no see; and how's my boyfriend Dunjen doing these days" the voice queried with a smile.

"Katlyn I'm just fine and so is Dunjen" she replied as she heard Dunjen "Hey there gorgeous....you look as sexy as ever." Nix smiled "This isn't just a social call I really need a favor" she stated.

"Is Dunjen being his usual charming self? So what do you need" Katlyn asked.

Nix just grinned "He thinks you look as sexy as ever....anyway I need a Computer Program to completely erase data and also any redundant backups that may exist with a one hour time delay after execution" Nix explained "Would or could you do it for me."

Katlyn smiled "Tell Dunjen he's sweet....as far as the Program I can have it done and guaranteed to work in about five or six hours. Actually you caught me at a good time.....the Ships at a space station for a few days. I'll call when it's finished."

"Thank you so much Kat...I owe you one" she said with a grin.

Katlyn chuckled "You owe me a few more than just one and someday I hope to cash in on them with you."

Nix smiled as she knew what Kat meant by that "That would be nice and I'm sure Dunjen wouldn't mind either. I should be going I have a lot to do yet....Dunjen out" then the screen went back to the logo.

{Intelligence Department}

Nix walked in and went to her lockup to gather what she would need for the impending trip back to Quagmire.

This time she wouldn't need a vest but rather her Infiltration Tactical Suit where she would stow all her gear. Nix started with her forearm Terminal this time which would be easier to use in tight spaces. Nix then grabbed the following: plenty of throwing stars, sleeping darts, an expandable blow gun, some explosive putty, viewing sphere, her special knife, a phaser with an extra battery, and a few other items just in case. Nix also grabbed two coils of light rope which was easy to handle but strong enough to support her weight along with some hooks to lock the rope against a building.

Nix stood looking over the items, double checking that she had everything that she could possibly need. She grabbed a special case and placed all her gear into it.....since ninety nine percent of the items were hers, she felt no regs would be broken taking this stuff back to her Quarters.

{Quarters}

Nix arrived back home and placed the case in the bedroom where it would be safe and out of the way as she heard Dunjen "So what else do we need to do yet" he asked. "I just want to pull up my notes on the building and go over them for a bit" came the reply.

She logged into her Terminal and accessed the file from her last mission....Nix was in the habit of writing notes on every Op that she had ever been on if only for a record of what she had done....this time the notes on the building would prove to be of great benefit.

As Nix studied the notes the time slipped away....then she was interrupted by the Comm Officer "A call just came in for you Lieutenant....patching it through to your Quarters."

A familiar face once again appeared on the Screen "Nix I have the Program all set and am sending it to you now" Katlyn stated "It should be just what you need.....I've preset it on a one hour time delay already for you."

"Thank you Katlyn your a lifesaver....if you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask" Nix said with a smile.

Katlyn just grinned "I'll keep that in mind.....you just come back safe, you hear me....I still need to collect on all those favors you owe me and tell Dunjen keep being his charming self. Be safe Nix...Katlyn out" and the Screen went back to the logo.

Nix sat and smiled to herself for a moment hoping that someday she would get to see her friend again. She grabbed an empty disk and transferred the program onto it knowing that if anyone could write a successful program like this it was Katlyn.

Dunjen could sense Nix's feelings "We'll get to see Katlyn someday, I just know it" "I know old friend but right now I think i need some sleep...it's been a very long day."
