Post # 51 - Needed Workout

{Deck 3 - Quarters}

It had been a couple of days since Nix had finished her infiltration of the Research Center on Quagmire and had been busy filing reports to the various Departments; which was her custom in order to keep everyone in the loop that needed to be.

Presently it was zero four hundred and Nix knew it was time for a 'good old fashioned' workout to keep in shape just in case her talents were needed again.

{Deck 11 - Holodecks}

Walking up to one of the Holodecks Nix paused "Computer load Dunjen program ten" she stated. "Dunjen program ten loaded" came the reply as the door slid open "Well old friend you ready to break a sweat" Nix thought to herself. "Anytime you are" he replied as they walked into a special Gym area.

First things first as Nix took a few minutes with some warmup exercises so as not to strain her cold muscles.

Afterwards Nix jumped onto a moving walkway and set the pace to a fast run.....once started she ran quickly for quite a few minutes feeling her heart rate increase quite a bit as she did so. If there was ever a time when she needed to 'beat feet' in order to survive she wanted to make sure she was up to the task.

Next Nix went over to some free weights and loaded up the bar with one hundred fifty pounds which was a little more than her body weight. "You sure you want that much weight" she heard Dunjen ask. "Yes it'll be fine......I need to keep increasing the weight to add muscle to my body" she replied with a grin.

For the next several minutes Nix workout with the weights making sure not to overdue and hurt herself. Adding muscle took time and patience.

When Nix was finished she grabbed a towel and wiped away the perspiration before continuing with her routine. The last hour Nix spent using her Martial Arts skills to keep on point and making sure that it was still second nature.

After Nix was finished she grabbed the towel and put it around her neck "I guess that's enough for today' she thought. "I'm tired just watching you" Dunjen thought with a chuckle.

Nix grinned as she exited the area "Computer end program" she stated as she left for a shower back at her Quarters.

While on her way back she thought "At some point I should go and meet the new Chief Strategics Operational Officer."
