Post Number 15 Fighter Is Ready

ON:

After speaking to the commodore Alesha breathed a sigh of relief and tapped her com-badge as she headed for the fighter bay. “Lieutenant Nix this is Lieutenant Rivers, the commodore has given us the green light to beam my fighter cloaked into space while we’re stopped. Meet me in the fighter bay ASAP.”

Alesha walked into the fighter bay and over to her fighter, raising the tarp covering in she keyed in the access codes to disable the alarms in it and climbed aboard. While she waited for Nix, Alesha ran the fight and systems check. The cloak was active on all fight modes and could hold for as long as needed. Leaning back in her seat Alesha thought of how she’d come to be in Federation Service and shuddered at the memories of the War Bird she’d been held on until she’d been rescued. Now she was going to fly right into Romulan space while cloaked. What was she getting into?
