Mission: Rescue On Romulus
Location: Amandora
Timeline: Concurrent

After taking care of her gear Nix finally entered her quarters exhausted when she noticed this terrible smell....it only took her a minute to realize that it was her "Ugh.....old friend I stink" she stated knowing it was being in that dreadful place for so long. "So shower time" Dunjen said with a chuckle. "Most definitely....the sooner the better" she replied while making her way to take a much needed long hot shower.

When finished Nix dressed and incinerated all the clothes that she wore for the Op to get rid of that smell. She walked into the Kitchen area and grabbed something to eat and drink then sat on the couch to enjoy her meal.

Nix was playing over in her mind everything that had happened and all the things she had done. Thinking to herself "Did I make the right moves.....am I loosing my edge" which played over and over in her mind.

After several minutes Dunjen chimed in "Ok....you need to stop this way of thinking.....you did what you had to do which saved two innocent lives.....and you're as good and sharp as you ever been."

Nix let out a long sigh "You're right old friend....this way of thinking is pointless" she thought "So you still think I have what it takes to do this type of work."

"Nix you're at the top of your game right now; you just need to remember.....you can't save everyone.....besides what you did on that Moon was very selfless and saved those two women.

"Thanks Dunjen I feel much better now. But I've never been caught by the enemy before" she commented.

"As many Ops that we've been on I'd say you've more than beaten the odds on that one" Dunjen replied.

After her conversation, Nix sat at her Terminal to write up a report to send off to various Department heads which read as follows:

Subject: Moon Rescue Op

As per orders from Star Fleet I Infiltrated the Romulan Prison on the Moon. Once there I was able to rescue Lieutenant Commander Martha West first followed by Private Elaine Sabin; sadly I learned Lieutenants Wilks and Jones had been executed two weeks prior to our arrival.

After being taken prisoner and a safe return to the Amandora, via the Fighter and 1st Lieutenant Rivers along with Lieutenant Commander Rouge Green, I am able to write this report. Also both West and Sabin were escorted to Sick Bay earlier for a thorough examination by Dr. Long.

As a side note the conditions in the Prison were deplorable with many souls not likely to survive the ordeals which are being perpetrated by the Romulans.

Nix sent off the reports and logged off her Terminal when she realized something.....then rechecked the Crew Manifest.....where was Kelliza's name....the XO's slot was vacated.....and who was this Commander O'Connell.....a new Second Officer.

Nix ran down through the entire Manifest and stopped when she got to one name in particular.....who was Ensign Zenni Kahn.

While starring at the name Nix could sense Dunjen "Nix, I fear the worst for the Kelliza.....I mean what are the chances of another person aboard Ship with the last name of Kahn....and being new at that" he commented.

"I'll try and get some answers tomorrow....but right now I really need to get some much needed sleep" Nix replied as she made her way into the bedroom.

Tomorrow would be filled with more than a few surprises.
