{Deck2 - Quarters}

Jamie and Heather had discussed the night before about going down to Tython for at least a day to look around and enjoy the warm weather as well as having actual dirt under their feet for a change.

After breakfast Heather looked at Jamie "It's going to be quite warm down there so I thought I'd replicate some appropriate clothing for us to wear; that is if you trust my tastes" she commented with a grin.

"Sure whatever you think is fine with me, just as long I don't end up naked.....that's a little to much back to nature for my tastes" he replied then laughed.

Heather just grinned "Don't worry, I have something comfortable in mind" and with that she was off to the replicator.

Several minutes later she walked into the bedroom where Jamie was with their new attire. The clothing consisted of a pair of khaki cargo shorts which came about midway between the knee and thigh along with a khaki short sleeved shirt. Also included were heavy socks, a baseball style cap, and hiking boots about ankle height. Jamie dressed then went out into the living area waiting for Heather.

A short time later Heather walked out into the living area "So what do you think" she inquired with a smile as she turned in a circle.

Jamie looked up to see Heather with perfect fitting shorts, her shirt had the top two buttons undone so just enough cleavage showed to catch the eye but not enough to be vulgar. Lastly her long brown hair was in a pony with the tail extending through the back of the cap.

Jamie smiled as he walked up to her "Hot damn...aren't you just the sexy thing" he stated before giving Heather a kiss.

After the kiss "Thank you Jamie you always know how to make me feel good about myself..." then looking at him "You know I rather like you in a pair of shorts" she stated as Jamie turned and Heather slapped him on the butt playfully. Jamie turned and smiled as he grabbed his phaser which went into the pocket on the shorts and his Comm in the other side.

{Deck 6} - Transporters}

The O'Connells stepped onto the Pads as Jamie said to the Operator "Ensign beam us down to the surface at the prearranged coordinates" he requested.

"Sure thing Commander" the Ensign replied and moments later they were gone in a beam of white light.

{Tython}

The couple materialized on the surface and stood for a few moments to get their bearings while enjoying the feel of the warm sun on their skin and the dirt under their feet.

Heather looked at Jamie "So which way sweetheart" she asked as she took his hand in hers.

"We may as well go this way since the City is setup in a circle, so we're going to end up where we started at some point" he commented with a grin.

The couple walked hand in hand leisurely enjoying the weather while noticing all of the art work everywhere as well as the architecture of the buildings when Heather commented with a grin "You know I could get used to a place like this."

Jamie smiled "Ya this place is pretty nice....but keep in mind we are seeing what they want us to see....the rest of this City may not be as nice as this" he commented.

Heather just grinned "Yup...spoken like a true Commander" she chuckled then she kissed him on the cheek.

"No, I'm only saying...we don't know for sure if the whole place is as nice as this" he replied "Anyway let's enjoy ourselves while we're here." Heather nodded as the couple continued their leisurely walk around the City.

Shortly, after they rounded a corner, they came upon an area with all sorts of vendor carts serving all different kinds of food which filled the air with many delightful smells.

Jamie looked at Heather "I think it's lunch time....what do you think....want to try some of the food" he asked.

"Sounds good to me" Heather replied as she could feel her mouth starting to water at the notion.

They walked up to one of the carts as Jamie asked "Hi, what have we here" he asked looking at something that resembled an Earth hotdog about ten inches long and golden brown.

The gentleman smiled "This is hotcha....a hot meat you eat in bread and add fresh veggies if you like" he replied.

Jamie looked at Heather as she nodded yes "We'll take two of those and a two side orders of that" he said pointing to a lightly browned rounded item.

The Vendor handed Jamie the two hotchas "Here you go and please help yourselves to whatever veggies you prefer....and these are fried spuds, lightly salted" he explained as he handed them their food.

Jamie paid the man then they walked their food over to a nearby table and sat down to eat "This food is so good" Heather exclaimed while taking another bite of her food.

Jamie stopped eating long enough to answer "Ya this is wonderful; I haven't had anything like this since I left Ireland" he replied then went back to eating. After they finished their meal they disposed of the leftover containers and resumed exploring the food area.

As the couple was ending the vendor area they smelled a delightful sweet smell as they approached one of the carts. Heather stopped and asked the Lady "What is that delightful smell" she asked inhaling the smell.

The Lady smiled "These are Blinzels....a sweet flakey pastry filled with caramel and nuts" she explained.

"We'll take two please and do you have any waters" Heather ordered.

The lady handed her the two Blinzels and two containers of water as Heather paid the vendor. Then they went and set on a bench and enjoyed this wonderful sweet treat.

When they were finished Heather looked at Jamie " I don't know about you but I'm stuffed....I won't need to eat the rest of the day" she commented with a grin.

"Ya, I'm right there with you" Jamie replied with a chuckle. The couple continued their walk around the City for a couple more hours, and they were able to walk off all that food, until they came to the same place where they had started out earlier.

Jamie looked at Heather "So now what would you like to do" he asked.

"If it's all the same to you, I think I'd like to return to the Ship....I've walked so much my feet hurt" she replied "Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing day....It's just what I needed."

Jamie agreed then tapping his Comm "This is Commander O'Connell....two to beam back to the Ship" came the request and soon they were gone.
