Timeline: Concurrent

::ON::

While the other three Officers were off on talks and tours, James was going about what he had been ordered to do....namely collect all types of samples from the planet.

He came to an interesting area as he set down his collection bag, opened it and grabbed a few bags. James sampled all sorts of different plant life and fauna then carefully bagged and tagged each item. He even came across a few different types of insects as well which were put in clear jars and shoved in the bag also. Once James was satisfied with the samples he had taken he moved on to another area.

After walking about a half mile James came across a pond teaming with all sorts of life. He grabbed some samples of water and also some of the soil as well.

While collecting more samples than really needed James heard a soft voice "Hi there, are you from the Ship above" a young women asked.

James stood being quite surprised at what he was seeing. Here was this pale blue skin young women with white hair and purple eyes "Yes I'm from the Amandora which is in orbit around your planet" he replied with a smile "I'm Lieutenant James McTavish."

The young women smiled "It's nice to meet you Lieutenant James McTavish.....what are you doing with all that stuff" she asked returning the smile "And you can call me Keea.

"Keea I'm a Scientist and I'm taking different samples from your world to study back on the Ship" he explained hoping she understood.

"Ah" she commented as she walked up very close to James "May I touch your face, I've never seen a face that color before" Keea asked definitely invading his personal space.

James thought for a moment before answering "Ok, I guess it would be alright" being a little nervous at the moment.

Keea touched his face and brushed the side of his cheek "Your skin is very harsh to the touch" she stated "Here you may touch mine and you will see the difference."

Not being too sure about this James went ahead anyway as he reached up to touch her face "Your skin is so soft and smooth" he commented remembering it felt like velvet.

Keea got even closer as she leaned in and whispered "We could go to my house and you could touch me all over if you wish" she replied with a grin.

At that point James backed up somewhat "Ah....as flattered as I am by your offer I have a wife so I really can't" he answered sweating bullets, almost tripping and ending up in the water.

Keea had a strange look on her face as she tilted her head "You don't find me desirable" she asked as she started moving closer towards James, then she stopped "What is wife?"

"Wife....my mate for life....the only women I touch all over" he explained hoping she got the point.

"Oh I see.....we have many mates on our planet....so you wouldn't be breaking any rules or anything" she stated with a smile as she started forward towards James once again.

By this time James had somehow managed to get on the other side of Keea and away from the pond "But I would be breaking all kinds of rules in my culture, so the answer is no" he stated in an even tone.

Keea just stood for a moment looking at James "Ok.....but you don't know what your missing" she commented still smiling "Nice to meet you and I'll let you get back to work." then she turned and off she went.

James was still a little stunned by what had recently happened and decided to finish up quickly and get off this planet before he had another encounter of this type.

After a couple more hours James had everything he needed and his go bag was full and almost overflowing with samples. Tapping his Comm "Amandora this is McTavish, I'm ready to return" he stated as a thought went through his mind "Do I tell Heather about the young women" as he turned into a beam of white light.
