Mission: Zaris Three

{Infiltration Department}

Lieutenant J.G.'s Dunjen and Devroe received orders to proceed to Zaris Three for an infiltration mission. Commander O'Connell provided the coordinates and a request from the Commodore to be careful on the Op.

"This will be our first mission as a team" Nix stated with a grin "It's a recon mission only.....we get the intel and get out without being detected by anyone on Zaris."

Heather was excited and a little nervous all at the same time; this would be her first Op with a partner "So we go all black tactical uniform then " she queried.

"Yes all black with soft soled shoes and a hood so you only see our eyes" Nix explained "So what gear do you think we'll need."

Heather thought for a few moments then rattled off a list of items hoping she hadn't forgotten anything.

Nix smiled "Good, that should be all we'll need.....see you're a natural at this" she commented being quite proud of her partner.

The ladies packed up the gear in their vests and stowed them in the lockers until it was time to leave for the Op. Then the two sat for a few minutes on benches in the area.

"Heather I know you're used to working solo on an Op and so am I for the most part. This will be our first Op together but I think we'll compliment one another well" Nix commented as she heard Dunjen agree.

"So do I....I mean we've trained together for how long now and this Op should be no different" Heather replied with a grin "Actually I'm looking forward to it."

"So am I and I know Dunjen is excited to see us working together" Nix commented then she paused for a moment "Just so we're clear I usually run point on an Op with a partner....unless you have an objection."

"Absolutely no objections.....I wouldn't have it any other way.....you lead and I'll follow" Heather stated being quite sincere.

Nix was quite relieved to hear her say that "Good, we need to be on the same page for any Op we go on together. We should probably go and get some sleep. We'll meet in Transporter Room One at zero one hundred then go from there" she explained.

"Sounds like a plan" Heather replied "I'll see you at zero one hundred."

The ladies left the Department each going their separate ways. Heather thought she would have a light meal then hopefully try and get some sleep. Maybe Jamie could help her in that department.
