Lieutenant J.G.'s Dunjen and Devroe received their orders from Commander O'Connell for their next infiltration op. After making the usual preparations the team made their way to the Transporter Room.

"Since we can't be in two places at once, why don't you take the prison and I'll go talk to the little people; Lieutenant Herculoid gave me the coordinates for their secret village." Nix suggested.

"That makes sense" Heather replied "So how do you want us to beam out.....I doubt we'll both of us will be done at the same time."

Nix thought for a moment "I didn't really think of that, nice catch" she commented "When we're each finished then why don't we get back to the Ship and meet in the Intelligence Department; although I don't think It'll take either of us very long." Heather nodded in agreement as the Team stepped onto the Pads.

Nix looked over at Heather and gave her a hand gesture so Heather said "Energize" and soon they were gone.

{Zaris Three}

Heather materialized at the same place as she had before. Looking around to make sure the coast was clear, she hustled to the Iron Door.

Once there she reached into her vest and grabbed the Tech to unlock the door while thinking "Ok you've got this....time to remember your training" which made her smile since she had said the exact same thing to Jamie numerous times.

When she entered she stuck to the shadows and made her way down to the cell area. She used the small sphere and wrist screen to check if any guards were in the area. Sure enough there was one token Guard at the desk. Heather reached into her vest and grabbed a dart and blowgun and knew exactly what to do.

After the Guard was fast asleep Heather made her way to the cell looking for the lady they had spoken to before "Hi how are you holding up in here" she queried.

The lady looked up and smiled "As good as can be expected I suppose" she replied "Any word on our plight?"

Heather smiled back "I have on good authority that Kyron has no intention of setting you free on your Planet" she stated "However not all is lost....our Commanding Officer is prepared to grant you asylum on our Ship and take you to another Planet if need be."

The lady thought for a moment "As much as we don't want to leave our home that would be better than rotting in these cells" she replied.

"Good...now all you have to do is ask me for asylum and I'll let the Commodore know. And by the way Kyron has already said he would approve if you asked" Heather explained in detail.

"Just a minute let me talk to the others" she said and turned to her peers. After several minutes she returned "Everyone is in agreement...yes please give us asylum and get us out of here."

That put a smile on Heather's face "Excellent....it may take a few more days but I promise we will get you and your people out of this dreadful place; you just need to be patient a little while longer."

The lady let out a sigh "Well we've been here this long another couple of days won't really matter."

"I'll see you soon then. I need to return to my Ship" Heather stated then turned to make her way back up the stairs.

Carefully Heather walked towards the door ducking in and out of the shadows. She was almost there when two more Guards came walking in so she quickly hid in the shadows being very quiet.

The Guards were so busy talking and didn't even notice Heather; which was good so she didn't have to bother with them at all.

After they were well clear of the area Heather zipped out the door and back to the beam in point. Tapping her Comm "Transporter Room this is Devroe, one to return" came the order and soon she was gone off the planet.

{Cave}

Nix materialized in front of the hidden cave. Looking around she thought "Dunjen you ready to meet some tiny people" "Sure, but do I have a choice" he replied. "Good point...stay sharp just in case."

Carefully Nix entered the cave and noticed the beautiful pink sky "Wow look at how lovely the sky is" she whispered when she saw a tiny lady standing on a mushroom.

"Hello, I'm Lieutenant JG Nix Dunjen from the Ship and you must be Mala....it's very nice to meet you" she stated I'm here to find out anything more about you, your people, and your circumstances here."

Mala smiled "Please sit and I'll tell you everything you want to know" she replied so Nix sat on the ground and listened very carefully to what Mala had to say.

After Mala was finished Nix realized that she really hadn't told her anything that she didn't already know but smiled "Thank you for telling me all this I will relay the information to my Commodore" she said "And just so you know our Second officer spoke with Kyron directly and he was not aware of what was happening to your world. He arrested the person responsible and intends to make the laws that protect you even stronger; so you don't have to be afraid anymore."

Mala smiled "That's certainly great news...but we'll see how long it lasts" she replied.

"Well if they want to make it into the Federation then Kyron will have to see to it that the laws are observed....that's about all the assurances that I can give you" Nix explained.

"I guess that'll have to do then and thank you for coming and talking to me. I wish everyone was as nice and understanding as you are" she commented "Could I ask you a personal question, what are all those marks on your head and neck."

Nix just smiled "I was born with these markings....you see I'm what's known as a Trill and I have a Symbiont who dwells inside of me....we are as one person" she explained.

Mala then asked "So you have another person living inside of you, how remarkable you are. So do you communicate with each other" she asked.

"Yes we do, through thought and his name is Dunjen.....an ancient warrior. You see a Trill has only one name so mine is Nix and when we were joined then I became Nix Dunjen. It's a great honor to be joined and my race take it very seriously" Nix concluded with a smile.

"Thank you for sharing your story with me....it's very special" Mala replied being awe struck.

"Your welcome and it was my pleasure to share my story with you. I should be going and I wish you and your people all the best. I know things will work out for you" Nix stated then stood and exited the cave being very glad to have met Mala as well as being able to get to know her a little.

Walking a ways from the cave Nix could hear Dunjen "Those are extraordinary people....I sure hope things work out for them." 'So do I old friend....so do I." Then tapping her Comm "Transpoter Room this is Dunjen one to return to the Ship" came the request and moments later Nix was gone.
