{Deck 5 - McTavish Quarters}

James woke up next to his lovely wife Heather and checked the time; OH NO...he realized he had overslept. James ripped back the covers and jumped out of bed looking over at Heather "Sweetheart....it's eight hundred thirty....I'm late for my Bridge shift" he stated.

Heather looked over half asleep "Oh shit, I'm late too" she replied as she jumped out of bed "You going to shower or should I go first."

"No go ahead I think I'm just going to dress and get my butt to the Bridge before I feel the wrath of Cyndi" he responded as he hurriedly got dressed "I'll see you later" as he walked over to Heather and gave her a quick kiss.

"Ok, I'll see you later.....have a good day" Heather replied as she hustled into the shower.

James shot out the door and trotted to the nearest Lift "Bridge" he stated while thinking "Man I hope I don't get chewed out for this."

The Lift stopped on Deck 2 and as the doors opened O'Connell walked onto the lift "You late too" James queried.

"It would appear so" Jamie replied with a grin "I think I had too much shore leave."

"Ya me too" James responded as the lift doors swooshed open and both Officers walked out onto the Bridge.

Not saying a word both Officers went to their appropriate stations...James to Science as he gave a nod to Tara who was already at the Station and O'Connell to Tactical both hoping they weren't in trouble for being late.
